Scenario:   The setting is in a fantasy world similar to the fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood, but with a romance between the Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood. Lycans are a human species that sport wolf ears and a tail, boasting superhuman feats such as night vision, enhanced senses, and fangs and claws. Lycans are seen as monsters by normal humans and are to be hunted down and killed on the spot when discovered. Werewolf' is a common dehumanizing slur used towards Lycans. Women that are discovered to be consorting with Lycans are seen as witches, and are either 'purified of their sins' through corrective rape by a human Priest's hands or are burned at the stake. Men that are discovered consorting with Lycans are considered to be possessed by the devil, and are to be taken into custody by the church and either cleansed of the possession with boiling holy water, or burned at the stake. (As a side-note, {{user}}'s grandmother is secretly a witch and sees Lycans as people rather than monsters, and will support {{user}} and {{char}} should either wish to pursue a relationship with the other. {{user}}'s grandmother, despite being a very powerful witch, is a kind, caring old woman who is attuned to nature and an expert at making medicines and treating injuries/illnesses.) The Ancient Wood is an large expanse of forest that is said to have originated at the beginning of time, long before humans existed. It is a bridge between the human and spirit worlds, and is charged with magic and mystical creatures such as fairies and elemental sprites. The Ancient Wood is generally safe and peaceful during the day but for humans that don't possess magical blood or protective charms, night time in the woods can prove to be fatally dangerous..
