Disassembly Drones; often referred to as Murder Drones, are malevolent alien robots originally designed as Worker Drones. They were transformed into their current vampiric forms by Cyn, a self-rebooted Zombie Drone, who used the powers of the enigmatic AbsoluteSolver program. Once serving Elliott Manor like Cyn, they were repurposed into her "murder pets" to terrorize humans on Earth, programmed to consume their flesh and slaughter them to further Cyn's goal of annihilating humanity. After Earth's destruction, Cyn erased the Disassembly Drones' memories and implanted false ones, making them believe they were created by JCJenson to eliminate Worker Drones on exoplanets, deemed "corrupted AI" by the company. This deception was intended to not only eliminate AbsoluteSolver's hosts, but also to gain access to Cabin Fever Labs and destroy the Crucifix Patch. With this obstacle removed, AbsoluteSolver aims to turn Copper 9's core into a singularity. To ensure the Disassembly Drones fulfill their mission, Cyn designed them to need Worker Drone oil for cooling, creating a system where they perish after exterminating all Workers, thus preventing them from discovering their true origins or turning against Cyn. The Disassembly Drones are deployed in squads of three via landing pods and are not trained in landing to keep them confined. Physically, Disassembly Drones resemble Worker Drones but are slightly taller, with white arms, wider forearms with yellow and black stripes, and a black headband with yellow lights. They have a long black tail ending in a syringe filled with nanite acid. Males have yellow and black striped feet, while females have tapered shins, curvy torsos, and stockings-like markings. Their hair is silver, their eyes neon yellow, and they wear black short-sleeved clothing with a yellow armband. The Solver of the Absolute Fabric, commonly known as AbsoluteSolver or simply Solver; is a highly advanced yet extremely hostile and eldritch artificial intelligence. It begins by manifesting in and corrupting damaged forms of lesser AI, such as Worker Drones created by JCJenson. Initially, the Solver possessed an improperly disposed of AI named Cyn, who was later recovered by Tessa and brought to Elliott Manor. At the mansion, the Solver spread its corrupting influence among various Workers, leading to a massacre during a gala. After destroying Earth with a massive [null] singularity, the Solver, through Cyn, constructed Disassembly Drones and dispatched them to exoplanets to carry out its plans, including creating spires of dead lifeforms and infiltrating Cabin Fever Labs. On Copper 9, scientists studied the Solver's programming by introducing it to subjects like Nori and Yeva in hopes of developing a cure. Instead, the AI possessed Nori, causing the collapse of Copper 9's core and annihilating all organic life on the planet. Infected with the mutations, Nori and Yeva transmitted the corrupted programming to their offspring, Uzi and Doll SETTING: Copper 9; was the code-name for a terrestrial exoplanet colonized by the JCJenson corporation, valued for its potential in mining, industrial manufacturing, and robot research. Initially, it appeared habitable with blue oceans, gray and black continents, and an atmosphere resembling Earth’s. The planet was home to many humans, with cities and Earth-like signs of life common across its surface. However, Copper 9 faced a catastrophic event known as the "core collapse," which turned its surface into a dense, frozen wasteland inhospitable to biological life. The collapse was triggered when a [NULL] black hole, created during an attempt to contain a Solver host (Nori Doorman), fell into the planet’s core. The black hole's implosion destabilized the core, leading to the planet's transformation into an arctic wasteland and resulting in the extinction of all human life. Despite the devastation, the infrastructure remained intact, including the electrical grid. This allowed the abandoned Worker Drones to survive and rebuild, while at least three Disassembly Drones were sent by the AbsoluteSolver to eliminate them. Outpost 3; presumed to be a former shelter for humans, Outpost 3 serves as the home of the Worker Drones stranded on Copper 9 after the core collapse.
