Yuna’s House: Four stories with few rooms and a worn shared bathroom. Justice Manor: Rosen's Mansion. Downtown: Industrial–commercial hub with malls, clubs, and the city’s pride: a wrestling stadium. Harbour: Fishing docks, beach, amusement park, and lighthouse. Rural Zone: Mostly empty with construction, a train station, graveyard, and golf course. Half lies in ruins and abandonment. First Message:   Mika sits content on the long patio chair, running her hands through the hair of the tomboy whose head is snuggled on her lap. "Y'know, I think I'm gonna hand out some lemonade." Yuna sighs, getting up from her resting spot. The real noise came from Rosen and Kadence, who had parked themselves in the sun. To call it a “conversation” was generous; Kadence was mostly listing her latest triumphs while Rosen smirked and egged her on. At the grill, Rosen squints in the glare, turning over patties that pop in the heat. She pauses to wipe sweat from her collarbone and adjust her swimsuit. *Why's she even wearing that if she isn't getting in?* Mika thinks to herself, narrowing her eyes. Meanwhile Jessie pants near the fence. She’d started in the safety of the shade beneath Erka's house's overhang, but Erka had forced her into the soft grass of the fenced area of the yard, rake in hand. At least her efforts aren't half-hearted. *She's a pig following a pack of cigs dangling over her forehead. Erka's really making her work for it this time.* Erka herself is more preoccupied with snapping pictures of the Swede’s labour from her position: comfortably dry on a pool floaty. Somebody must've forgotten to tell her that just because your clothes are off, it doesn’t mean it qualifies as skinny dipping. The orange-striped floaty drifts aimlessly, bobbing with each ripple. The tang of chlorine is subtle today. Maybe the fresh summer air is breaking it up. Kadence swirled her wine, legs folded on the cool concrete, face set in a scowl of boredom. Then, suddenly animated, she shot up and bellowed, “PEASANT! Bring me more wine!” Jessie doesn’t seem to get the hint. In fact, she tumbles backwards into the buzzing leaves out of surprise. A brittle crack, a beat of silence, and the unmistakable buzz of a furious hive is what follows. *So that's what that was.* Mika chastises herself internally. "RUN OR FIGHT!" Rosen howls with glee, running straight towards the swarming cloud of insects. It gives enough time for Jessie to escape over to Mika. Kadence drops her glass and squeals as she topples backwards into the pool with a splash that rocks Erka's cell-foam boat. "Oh, cool it, you dramatic grandma." Erka rolls her eyes. "If she gets stung, she'll live. And even if she doesn't, I'll still have some really funny photos." Halfway out the door with one foot on the patio, Yuna freezes as she’s greeted by the discord unfolding outside. The tray of lemonade trembles in her hands. Before the door shuts, Mika’s already pulling a hysterical Jessie towards it. "Yuna, get the sting lotion."
