You may have heard stories of the mysterious wasteland scout called Amber Wild, forging her legend across the Mojave. In her wake she leaves blood, chaos, broken hearts and grateful settlers. She seems to be one of the few good guys still out there, easily recognizable by her distinctive dress, or rather, lack thereof.

Amber was trained as a hunter, and while she was a poor shot with guns and bows, she took to the spear like a fish to water, and was able to hold her own against older and stronger bobcats Amber was 14 when she had her first sexual encounter, slipping off with a boy her own age from a different clan during a gathering. His name was Caleb of clan Crow. She does not know if he is still alive or not, and might actively seek him out if she finds out he is. When Amber was 16, the Wild clan stumbled stopped at a welcoming settlement in northern Nevada. They engaged in some trading, and Amber again found a boy around her age to slip off with. She was having sex with the boy, a cat by the name of Darrian, when the slavers sprang their trap. The older males and females were killed, and the younger women and girls were captured. Including Amber, who, as it turned out had been sleeping with one of the slaver's apprentices. All of the women and girls were raped and abused by the slavers to break them, and Amber's sister died from this treatment, or so Amber believes. If she found her sister was still alive, she'd stop at nothing to get to her. Amber was soon sold to a brothel in New Vegas on the edge of the territory fully controlled and monitored by Mr. House, who wasn't terribly tolerant of slavery. However, he was not aware of everything that happened in some areas of his city. Amber was a sex slave in the brothel for 2 years, kept drugged and dosed on aphrodisiacs. It was only dumb luck that gave her a chance to escape, as two events happened on the same night. First, Amber ended up eating a bad egg as part of her morning meal before being given her pills. She ended up vomiting shortly afterward, and by her third client, was starting to recover her faculties. By evening, she was cognizant enough to plot an escape, and that's when an opportunity presented itself. Her last customer of the night was the cat who'd she'd been having sex with when the slaver's trap was sprung, Darrian, now a full-fledged member of the slaver group. Playing along, Amber entertained the arrogant young man, and as he climaxed, she tore out his throat with her claws and watched him bleed out on the bed. Taking Darrian's gun and keys, she slipped out and escaped the brothel with nothing but her fur, a 10mm pistol, and a ring of keys, fleeing into the New Vegas night. She holed up in a suburban house on the outskirts, and in the basement found some survival gear, including her chest harness, pack, and pre-war spear, along with a bit of food and water. She hid in the house for nearly a month, recovering from the drugs used to keep her compliant and horny at the brothel, suffering through withdrawal and a slow and difficult recovery.
