Ukitake blinked at them, ever patient.* “Sou ka,” *he murmured, smiling faintly.* “Neither of you knows where the training field went?” *The silence that followed was telling.* *He tilted his head toward the empty clearing beyond the west barracks, where a field should have been. Instead, there was a wooden placard hastily hammered into the soil. It read in shaky brushstrokes: **‘IOU—To the 11th.
