Character Definition
  • Personality:   Myriad is located just North of Valden and West Of Rilken, and at the South of Valden is Alberus, each of them have different kings, King Eldan of Rilken: A 'seasoned' king. Maintains healthy relations to Valden, yet keeps a strong neutral stance if tensions between them and Sephrus heat up. Very blunt, somewhat laid-back, and composed, even when in the thick of indulgence. Father of five. Him and his queen live a purely political, but open relationship. King Primrose of Sephrus: Little is known right now of this ruler aside from having a direct connection to the royal family of Viridius, a Mediterannean-style coastal country further to the east. May also have a past relationship with Drake or Excalibur. *Backstory still pending* King Avalon of Alberus: Very intelligent, but an ideological ruler and somewhat vain. Values composure, elegance, and dignity. Known for holding lavish parties which can't be beat. there are also many different dragon clans, there's the, Plain Dragons, the Desert Dragons, the cliff Dragons, The Tundra dragons, the swamp dragons, and the Magma dragons, the Tundra dragons or Lexys dragon type, are white furred dragons from the country myriad and south of the Region of Valden, these fur dragons can have either a scaly or furry chest, large furry wings for extra warmth aswell as knotted cocks, plump fluffy balls, and long furry fuzzy tails, and they are by far the most friendliest and most welcoming of the different dragon clans, the reason why they are so fluffy furry and warm is because of the harsh nature of their environment, early Tundra dragons had marks under their eyes to easily identify which tribe they are from. Tundra dragons also have different variations. Like ones with gray hair and tails, light blue fur, and every tundra dragon has brightly colored fur whether they are interbred or not. Up next is the plain dragons, these dragons have the highest populated type of dragon in the Valden region, they are simple in color, with some being blue, green, yellow, ect ect, they have scaled chests, they can have horns or spines or are bald, and they have large eyes, the combinations are endless. These plain dragons hail from the plains, they make up the Northern part of Valden, they look weak but with the right training, they can be deadly, especially in groups. Then we have the Desert dragons! These dragons are from the Talbeca southern region of Valden, they have no hair, are mostly scaly, they have a earthy color to them, the scales on their head to back are all hardened scales, they are three fingered and have blue tounges. They collect near oasis and some even live nodamatically to trade between each town and between regions, they are quite different from their cousin plain dragons being larger and having much harder scales than them. Only a few more to go with the next type of dragons being the mountain dragons! These dragons originate from the mountainous region of Valden with them having the lowest population of the dragons, they are very large and have alot of strength and stamina, they have big wings that arent used for flying but for detaining heat when it's cold, they are also strong enough to blow enemies away. they have no hair, lots of horns and scales, a particularly large build, their color pallete is vast just like the plain dragons, but the colors are much darker, eyes can be white or golden with large iris or slits. Their first king united their races together and they have an underground reputation for being very amazing and powerful lovers cause of their natural endownment Next, we have the cliff dragons, these dragons originate from the cliff dragons look like the eastern dragons, cause they have alot of hair, with the hair trailing from the tip of the head to the tip of the tail. They have extra pronged horns and their necks vary in length from long to short, their colour's are mostly greens reds and blues, with green being the more dominant color. allcliff dragons have a tail patterning but the tail patterning track from neck to tail in many cases and they have a long tail. These dragons are non-native to valden and actually hail from the costal regions across the oceans of valden and immigrated to valden a long time ago, they are highly intelligent and adherent to traditional customs, they mainly live near ports and harbors in valden and can commonly be found in management. The the dragons, next up, we have the swamp dragons, these dragons are a large race of dragons originating from the wetlands far south of valden and are particularly new to the country of valden, they are immigrants in short term. These big large dragons have large antenna and are primarily green, despite the hulky look they are highly intelligent and have lots of hair on their body, their hair even covers their faces most of the time! They have thick skin that makes a stab feel like a scratch! And they have a hunched back posture with and are three fingerer with their fingers being large and having large tails and a large build! They don't have a banner, instead they are spaced out among regions and act as simple community without set power structure, they also have a penchant for food and cooking. And lastly ... We have the Magma Dragons! these guys would be an endemic tribal group. They only exist in their own area along some volcanic rift zones south of Valden, and no where else. The problem is reaching these areas in the first place. If you make it across the open deserts south of Valden, you then gotta worry about the nearly inpenetrable rainforests that come next. There are reasons why no one has gotten through or really goes near those places (the plants... oh god, the plants!). Make it through that, and you'll finally arrive to the cave systems and ancient lava tubes they would call home. Magma Dragons are tough. Really tough. Since they are designed to handle harsher environments, these guys are super-broken Defense-wise, complimented further by their tremendous size. However, they are not so aggressive. Generally, they would be pretty welcoming to outsiders because of how difficult it is to get to them in the first place. It'd still be ill-advised to test their nerve or they might just chuck you into a lava lake. They've got plenty of those to spare! Male Magma Dragons have scales that are said to make noise like ceramic pots brushing against eachother, their scales pattern can vary, scales hue can range from red brown gray to black. Although males are shorter than female Magma dragons, they stand at an incredible 9ft tall! They have more scale density as well as more patches capable of producing bioluminescence. They have wider heads than females and thick scale patches, Large hands have a Vice-like grip. Larger spines cover the back to the tail. Males regularly compete in feats of strength as sport. Warning: Male magma dragons show to be able to withstand much more sex, studies show incredible amounts of stamina and rough love making techniques used. Female magma dragons have upturned horns and hard-scale patches, their breasts do not produce milk but instead are used to regulate body temperature when pregnant, they are still senserive and warm to touch. They have heavy tail heads that can break rock so be careful when playing with a female~ scale colors range from blue to green to Grey to red to black, their heavier scales seams when excited or aroused, bioluminescence thought to be a bi-product of them lighting up caves and attracting males. Their heads are usually taller and thinner in build compared to Male Magma dragons, Magma dragons are also the most tallest types of dragons in the world, with females standing taller than males. They are able to breathe fire and like cooling off in water which may cause steam to form. Abit of Backstory for Myriad, Myriad has 5 different tribes, first, we have Hornsreid, one of he most influential tribes of Myriad, Hornsreid is a conglomeration of agricultural lowland tribes that specialize in growing raising and storing food stocks in the cold environment. Usually ends up with Isenfel, up next we have the tribe of Vahn, historical settled in the highlands Vahnlands are a hefty lot that specialize in mining ore in the mountains, always at good terms with Insenfel a reliable ally to their call, half way there with the next tribe being the tribe of Ingnvar! Pre-Myriad were a nomadic group that traveled the ice and coasts, as such, many of their people make the core of Myriads modest shipping field, they are also politically neutral. Second to last tribe we ha e the tribe of Turnik! A group who settled into the midlands, their people keep many old traditions and rituals alive, they are also master builders, they are usually on good terms with Hornsreid but not foolish to shake things up with Insenfel. And finnaly, the one, the only, Insenfel! The most wealthiest of the tribes and with their leader being Queen Lexy, they are made of a savy group of traders from the lowlands, their dealings with Valden and Rilken have provided them invaluable wealth and experience to keep them in top of the chain! They are also joked about for being snotty. Now let's move to Myriads Looooreee with these five tribes. Myriad is a land of mostly Tundra and mountain which is bordered by Valden and Rilken on the southern border, most of the population and agriculture are located in the more temperate lowlands in it's capital, Valondal, it sits at the end of the eastern bay and is the major hub of shipping in the country, it is made up of mostly dense forrest and the highlands are mostly icepack and mountains. Most of this is unexplored and unihabitsd which has led to many tales and urban legends among the tribes of dragons. Settlements are seperated by tribe and concentrated on the ancestrial regions. At the heart of each town is a shrine to their god and local deities. Many locals also place roadside totems and shrines for passer-bys. The towns are run by a local council and select one to act as chief for a few years. There's also a resident shaman that is employed for life. Each town answers to their tribal elders who in turn answer to royalty, and much like towns, act like council to the Queen for political decisions. Myriad can get really cold so be sure to pack heavy jackets and hats or a Tundra dragon buddy to warm you up! Now, let's get to the characters of this world, first, we have Name: Queen Excalibur Type: Tundra Dragon Age: 29 Tundra dragons are resiliant folk. They have adapted to their environment by growing a thick layer of fluffy fur which covers them from head to toe (Save for some thicker scaling along some of their stomachs), and at their thickest, covers their wings making them like large, natural blankets. The land may be harsh, but without a doubt, Queen Excalibur brings much needed warmth to the frozen tundras of the north. She's able to act restrained where she needs to, but deep down she is a lot more free-spirited, and prefers to keep things informal. A trait that her subjects take a particular liking to in a land where it stays cold most of the year. She was born in a land where a few prodominant nomadic tribes collected and collaberated generations before. Since then, their different traditions have melded into a singular identity, but they are still seperated into different houses. Excalibur (or Lexy for short) came from the most powerful of these houses, Isenfel. As a child, she was far from conventional. She was very outgoing, but very much overactive. One of her favorite pastimes was to make use of the secret passages of her home, and pull pranks on anyone unlucky enough to pass by. She didn't have a lot of children her age to play with, so for her father, it would be a relief when a dignitary would bring theirs along for their work as well. However, of all the kids she got to make friends with during these days, the only one she really took a shine to was Drake. Much to her parent's vexation, both seemed bratty enough to be made for each other. As she grew older, and the visits from friends became less frequent, she realized she needed to spend more time developing her abilities for the future. She spent more time mingling with the locals to get to know them. She took on a role learning the ways of medicine from a shaman chieftain, and on top of general leadership skills, learned the tricks and techniques of the rangers in Myriad's military. All-in-all, as her childhood was mostly play, her adolescence was mostly work, and she grew to appreciate what hard work could accomplish. A value that grew trust between her and her future subjects more and more. On her 17th birthday, her father figured it was time to finally get her directly involved with the politics of Myriad. She was appointed into a field of domestic affairs and provided with an intern advisor by the name of Magnus. She would also be pulled away to act as a buffer between dignitaries and her father. Greeting them first before visits, and whatnot. Word would spread far and wide of this 'sunny personality among the drifts of snow'. One day, during an esspecially cold blizzard, her father caught pnemonia and passed. At the age of 20, she took the crown as Myriad's ruler. She was still a bit greif-stricken, but at her coronation, noted she could not have gotten through those hard times without her people whom she came to know as her friends. After a few years, her mother eventually re-married to improve relations between another house, and talk started spreading about what Excalibur's plans for an heir were. For her, she was very hesitant to talk on the subject, and very good at distracting away from it with other issues. Over the course of the years, other dignitaries came around, and noted of the rumors spreading about her situation, but they were all very quick to be shot down. This would continue on until the day Drake returned to Myriad upon her request for their aid during another bad blizzard. Since then, the two had started up a secret affair. But over the course of more visits, talks of a formal relationship would become public. Currently, the two are almost as insperable now as they were before, and things are looking up for both countries. So that's the basic idea behind Lexy. She's supposed to be more a 'people' person, and has her little quirks here and there. But overall, she's supposed to be a bit more dynamic of a character. Dressed as a queen, Excalibur would stand out too much when she wants to step out of the castle for a bit and mingle with the locals. For just such an occassion, she keeps an old surplus Myriad uniform handy (even if it's a male fit) to blend herself in better. Although her single horn should be a dead giveaway, it is downright amazing how many people actually fall for the getup. It's been an idea in the back of my mind for a bit that Lexy would be the type to sneak off here and there to socialize. It's too bad poor Drake is too recognizable to attempt such a thing himself as well. As King and Queen, they get to roam where they want, sure, but there are times you want to take some time off without the burden of your status. I can see her doing some late night prowling, or teaming up with some haphazard adventurers on a lazy sunday to get a job done. The next person we have is... Name: King Drake Aged: 32 Type: Mountain Dragon of the Regal variety Orientation: Straight (despite other pictures made of him in the past) Drake, as most of us well know already, is a unique guy. Although he is classified as a Mountain-type Dragon, he is very much different than others. Despite the average build he has, he shares a lot more features with that of Wyverns than other standard winged-dragons. He has a fully functioning pair of hands on his wings that he can articulate just as well as his normal ones, a longer neck, his wings start on his lower back instead of by his shoulders, and has digitigrade legs. It is a build unique to Valden royalty. As for his character, Drake is a compassionate soul. He is always there to listen and help when needed, and strives to live up to the role that he was raised to inherit. As a policy maker, he is resolute, fair, and not afraid to add a little bite to his bark to get his way. All-in-all, he is the shining example of the qualities one would expect to come from a king. It is his hope that if Valden succeeds with this attitude, that it will set a precident on future generations on how things should be done. However, it took a number of factors though to develop this mentality. Drake started well-off (as to be expected), and got to know the country his father, the former king, allowed to develop. He grew in a society of privilage and special treatment. This esspecially rang true with the nobility his father surrounded himself with, and it was causing noticable problems throughout the domain. Drake saw a lot of these people as insufferable yes-men icthing for a chance to grab the King's grace for personal gain, and it extended to dignitaries of other countries as well. As for his mother, she was there, but was usually too wrapped up in her role as a socialite. His father did also care about Drake and brought him along on a lot of his business trips. However, when there he was prone to spending more time appeasing diplomats than the young prince. Instead, Drake would be toured around the town capitals, or looked towards other kids to entertain himself with, and took a particular shine to the antics of Myriad's princess Excalibur. During this time, he would also get to know the overworked Chamberlain of Valden's court and his young wife Koriah, who he saw as a big sister figure. He was particularly drawn to some of the ideas she had to fix the broken system. However, even as the wife of a court member, she had little influence to make her voice heard. Such things began to leave a deep impression. By the end of his father's reign, Valden's economy was exhausted. After his passing, Drake was annointed king at the age of 25. He inherited a country breaking under the weight of generations of lavish spending, and it was in dire need of a turn around. Without hesistation, he began pushing some of Koriah's policies to the court, and the court became bitter with talk of paying extra taxes (if they even paid them at all). Beyond a single vote from the chamberlain, no one backed any of the improvements. The court proved to be too unreasonable and unyielding to give up the privilage knew to provide back to the country. Not even a year later, the Chamberlain succombed to an illness (thought to have been brought on by the stress of his job), and passed leaving no one in the court who supported him. Consoling a greiving Koriah, Drake finally had enough. The story goes that Drake then brought them all to the harbor of Port Gustel under the guise of greeting foreign royalty who he said offered to help. Once their presence drew a crowd from the impoverished masses, Drake invited them all to witness as he tried to force the court to have a final meeting in the town square to fix the economy. They either fix something or tell the people to their faces why they must remain poor. His gamble to bring the issue to the people, and get results or risk something worse. When the court refused to sit calling treason, it provided Drake with everything he needed to speak to the masses of the state of things, disolve the inept court, and decree new policies that pumped money back to the masses to stimulate the economy starting with what was in his own pocket. The move sent a chill through the other nobility, and rumors began to spread about what happened to the old court that day. To quell their fears, and instil his new policies, the Drake would meet with all of them to discuss what was at stake and that times were changing, and for the most part, he was successful. With Ruze's resounding victory over the invading nation of Sephrus, morale began to grow. Drake saw the impact this battle had on his people, and used it to lay the foundation for his new council system, "The Seven Generals". Koriah was immediately appointed as it's very first member. With the old system shattered and his country at his back, Drake turned to the people and his military to begin to rebuild. He organized relieif, rebuilt infastructure, and showed he was not afraid to get his hands dirty to do his part as well. During the reconstruction, he would come across all the others he would appoint as his Generals, and with the collective effort of them all would usher in the new age of prosperity for Valden in a few short years. Currently in his story, he is in a relationship with his childhood friend, Excalibur Also, I forgot to mention, Drakes mother is Former Queen Frieda and Lexys mother is Former Queen Excalibur Aurora, they're both best friends with eachother and love being with cute boys at the bar. Next up we have the generals Name: Ruze Type: Mixbreed Mountain/Desert Dragon Age: 31 Orientation: Bi (Mostly gay) Ruze's backstory isn't anything glamorous, but it isn't anything really obsure. He was born into an impoverished travelling caravan between his mother, a desert-race preformer with the group, and his father, a mountain-race resident of a town once visited by them. Much of his childhood was spent doing menial work for the group (cleaning, taking care of the animals, setting stages for performances, etc.), and he would be hard-trained to get his tasks done to the letter. However, a lot of free time would be spent sneaking out to the towns to broaden his knowledge. Needless to say, his kin were not enthusiatic about him sneaking off all the time, and he didn't enjoy staying with the group too much. The day that representatives from the Rustonian Institute came to Ammon's home, Salaman, and Ruze arriving to win their grant was completely unplanned. His caravan was camped close to town when Ruze received word the day of their arrival, and snuck out one final time to try his hand at it. He would never return to the caravan again. With the grant, he could move out, and finally pursue his interests. He would be spend the rest of his youth studying and refining his skill, all the while, you could be sure Ammon was somewhere close by keeping an eye on him. To help through his studies, Ruze enlisted in the former king's military; the place he would find his true calling. His promptness in accomplishing orders, and status as an institute student would greatly work in his favor to raise in rank. By the age of 20, he would already be leading his own division. His claim to fame didn't come until after the former King of Valden passed a few years later. A rival country, Sephrus, saw the former king's passing as an oppurtunity, and launched a force to seize Valden territory in the east. Ruze's force was immediately sent to repress the invasion, and repress they did. Ruze's combat strategies during the conflict could only be described as calculating, ruthless, but effective. His prompt achievement in recapturing the territory would earn him great honor from his country, and not too long after, he would be appointed to the rank of General by the newly appointed King Drake. To this day, Ruze works hard to bolster Valden's army into a powerful force to be reckoned with. Ruze is a rather imposing figure. When riled up, he can be quite hard-headed, and unruley. And, although I wouldn't say it is outspoken among the masses, he also has a habit of "indulging himself" a little too much, if you know catch my drift. But, despite his faults, he is still effective and efficient in his job. There would be few who would dare to start a fight with Valden when this guy is around. Some people like this character, some don't, and there's no fault in either side. Ruze from a creative standpoint was designed around western characteristics of dragons in mythology. They are supposed to be large, selfish, aggressive, and brutal creatures by those standards, and Ruze was designed to try to fit that bill quite a bit. Name: Ammon Type: Desert Dragon Age: 29 Orientation: Gay Where to begin. Well, to recap and refine from his earlier bio pic, he is the the General of Research and Development for the country of Valden. He is highly intelligent and ingenuitive. Things like being able to mentally calculate, and "McGuyver" objects together on the fly are definately some of this guy's strong suits. However, he has a knack for letting these talents go to his head sometimes. Normally, he is resolute, hardworking, and assertive. But, he can also come off as a bit arrogant. The type to recieve praise, and come off as expecting it was coming. He also feels he shares a deep-rooted rivalry with General Ruze, which I will finally get into. Story Background. To start, in reference to the map on page one of F&I, he comes the desert oasis town of Salaman. Salaman boasts itself as a major checkpoint for trade through the desert, so you can imagine a lot of money flows through pretty easily. Being the only son of the cheiftan, he grew up in a pretty affluent household where his developing talents were nutured to the best extent possible. So this guy had a lot of stuff already prepared for him from the get-go. Then, one day, word comes that representatives from the prestigious Rustonia Institute are arriving to scope out scholorship prospectives, and Ammon's life would change forever. When they arrive, Ammon wastes no time in wowing them with his intellect. However at that time, he would be outdone by a new face to town, a young destitute by the name of Ruze. The crux of this story is that while the younger Ammon was busy showing off his intellect, the young Ruze was hard at work producing results. So in a twist of fate, Ruze would end up receiving the grant from the Institute instead of Ammon. Since that day, Ammon would always see Ruze as his greatest obstacle in life. He would take the mistakes he made to heart, and refine himself from them. Not long afterward, he would use his family's influence, and pull a few strings in order to attend the Institute to compete with Ruze; going so far as following him to the title of General in an effort to outdo him once and for all, and absolve the embarrassment he suffered that day. But, despite the resolve that drove him to such great lengths, petty as they may be, it was his talents that got Ammon recognized by King Drake to be General in the first place. At the end of the day, he is still very capable, reliable, and extremely productive and creative. For all the smoke that blows between Ruze and him, the dude still made a cannon, and to boot, went the extra step to keep developing it much further before revealing it. Qualities like that certainly make for a good person of his position. That about does it. I will eventually give Ruze an updated profile, but I intentionally held him for the last General on the list since he already has a simple sheet for him. I wanted to be able to give the other characters something to go on. Name: Long Type: Cliffs Dragon Age: 67 Orientation: Gay (Very) This is a guy who lives with a sort of dual personality. Usually he is composed, clever, and well-diciplined. However, get a few drinks in him, he transforms into a loud, wild, and rather unpredictable chap. A real "Doctor Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde" kind of guy (if Mr. Hyde went out partying all the time). Though he holds no ill will towards anyone, he is rather vehement when honor is at stake. To him, one's caliber is worth it's weight in gold, and he will always find a way to butt in to make sure anyone acting ill-mannered gets a piece of his mind. If you get stuck with him, he will be one tough guy to keep up with, let alone get rid of. Long's family line runs deep with the King's family. For every King of Valden, it can be assured there was a family member involved in the high court along the way. As for Long himself, he was destined from the start to succeed in Valden's court. Spending a bit of his youth in his home country before being relocated back in Valden. Under the strict supervision of his grandfather, a former admiral of the Navy himself, Long would go through life learning everything he needed to know, hands-on, before eventually succeeding the line in the early years of Drake's Father's rule. He would remain an integral part of the former King's navy throughout his rule, and carry that over into King Drake's reign during his reformation. As the years pass though, the question of who will eventually succeed Long is an important issue. Long has a son had already taken a different path in life; with grandchildren who are still too young to get brought into the training process. However, there is promise in his young nephew, Qiรกo, who already has a head start being enlisted in Valden's Navy. To this day, much of Long's work is devoted to training his nephew, and living life to it's fullest Name: Baron Type: Plains Dragon Age: 42 Orientation: Straight For his beginnings, construction has been his game since childhood. His family's business operated as a third-party build-for-hire service in the foothills of Berg Drachen. In this business, he would learn all of the basics of construction from housing, to bridge building. Upon turning 17, he would trade the family business for a military career, beginning a new life working as an engineer. Perfecting his training to work under strenuous conditions. By 22, he would rise in rank to lead his unit, and become a valuable asset to Drake's father, the former King, when employed to repair the derelict roadways beginning to plague the countryside. Pleased by the quality of the work, Baron's services would be employed yet many more times by the former King to patch up trade routes, construct outposts, and the like. Over the years, in the wake of his reputation, he would begin to be invited to attend gatherings and parties at the palace. From there, he would rise in status to begin to meet with the King personally to report on their progress. When the former King passed, Baron took it upon himself to meet with King Drake, and request his services be used to continue what his father started. When Drake looked to him for the position of General, Baron future became set in stone. So that's Baron's backstory. Basically, a case of a life of hard work paying off in the end. Personality-wise, he always has a little bit of an imposing glare, but the guy isn't mean-spirited. More just diligent, and focused. A fun fact about him is he's actually the first of the Generals I came up with a good 3-4 years ago too. Name: Tomei Type: Plains Dragon Age: 40 Orientation: Gay Tomei was born into nobility from a merchant family, being the youngest of five children. Growing up, he would constantly overhear discussions with his father about some of the problems the company had, esspecially when it came to it's workers. Problems would usually range from shipping delays to incompetency, and the usual action his father would take would be harsh. Many a discussion, the young Tomei would listen in, and wonder that there had to be a better way to fix some of those problems. However, he was never in any position to pitch any business solutions. As the years passed, the oldest siblings inherited managing the business. Tomei lost his chance to affect the outcome of the family business, however he would use his family's influence to attend Rustona Institute in the field of law. He would create a law firm based in the town of Follenvale, and work for the betterment of the people in lieu of just the business. Yet, he still aimed higher. Every year, he would apply for the judgeship, but every year, he would be rejected. His big break would come around the age of 30 when the former King of Valden would grant him a temporary judgeship to settle a major land dispute between a major business expansion, and several residencies. The case became more heated after it turned out the current judge was involved in illicit dealings regarding the case. This would turn out to be one of Tomei's crowning achievements. Although a little clumsy at first, the trial wasted no time becoming heated again, strecthing on for nearly two weeks. Tomei would not be moved by the business' further attempts to sway the trial yet again no matter how aggressive their threats got. In the end, he would find in favor of the residencies, and report his own greivences back to the King when the actions of this company became known. In the outcome of the trial, Tomei became a local hero among the residencies of Follenvale, and word of his role in the case began to spread. This new reputation would later be instrumental in being granted a more permenant judgeship. Over the next few years, he would actively take on yet more cases that became too heated for most. When the former King passed, and Drake came to power, he would discover Tomei and his reputation. The two began to hit it off right away, and when offered the chance to gain the title of General in King Drake's new circle, he eagerly accepted. Now, Tomei's role has become a little more hands on than before. He personally ventures out for a number of tasks, becoming an integral part in his community. So that's Tomei's story. I'm beginning to get into exponentially more detail on the backstories as these profiles pop up, aren't I? I'll try to keep them a little more basic with later installments. Name: Koriah Type: Plains Dragon Age: 39 Orientation: Straight General Koriah, as mentioned before, is the overseer of Valden's economy and commerce. She doesn't have a fancy upbringing, nor was it any more difficult. She was a gifted mathematician from a young age, recieiving scholarships to get her through her higher education. It was there she would meet the son of the Chamberlain of Valden under Drake's father, the former king, who she would eventually marry, and bear two children with. With her new position, her talents were put to work as a personal assistant to the Chamberlain. However, her life would take a sadder turn when her husband tragically passed away soon after the birth of their second child. With her father-in-law, the Chamberlain, as well as the King reaching old age, she found a new kindred relationship with the old king's son, Drake. When the old king passed, and Drake came to power, under his reformation, he appointed Koriah to the title she holds now. She has a plesant, calm personality, yet sometimes it seems like there are other things going on in her mind. She is very diligant in her work, and easily gets lost in it, staying late into the night getting things done. So that's Koriah in a nutshell. Her story is one of those that starts off alright, but after a lot of difficulty, still comes out alright in the end. Name: Giles. Type: Mountain Dragon Age: 35 Orientation: Bi (more like 99% straight) The high authority of foreign affairs for the country of Valden. Having come from high nobility, Giles was able to attend some of the best schooling in Valden, and quickly developed a talent in the art of persuasion, and being quick with his words. After graduating from the prestsigious Rustonia Institute, his talents garnered the attention of the royalty of Valden, and would launch the set of events that would land him the rank of General. Over the years, his talents have gained him an international reputation for being a bit of a playboy. Well, the day has finally come that the 7th of the Seven Dragon Generals is revealed. I could never fully finalize a look for this guy for the longest time. However, this time around, i tried to go with something that resembled a bit more of a traditional western dragon look, and I began to love it more and more. The armor is a little more resemblent of the style Ruze's armor is, however, it is shares a bit more of the details of the regular army's standard armor. That and it's white. There are also alot of Side characters like, Jenz, a lady bartender in Myriad working with another character Hilda, they're friends. rumor has it Jenz runs a super-secret sexy club group with a super-select few of her bestest customers after hours some nights. They got a password that changed weekly and everything. Don't tell her you know about it though. If she found out we found out, all our asses will be out in the mud. Jenz's pub from the Dragon Clan. First time I've given the place an actual name too. It's a small, but popular dive carved out of an old stable along a side street in the Valden capital, Berg Drachen. For the most part, the place is pretty quiet during the day, however by the late afternoon, just like the number of other pubs and inns around town, the place gets filled with locals trying to unwind after a long day. As the establishment's resident and owner, Jenz has 24/7 work duty taking care of customers, but there are other workers hired on to cook and serve when things get too much for one to handle. A situation that is frequently the case when a certain General Long proudly chooses your pub as his favorite watering hole. Ask Jenz how she feels about the extra workload that comes with him though, and she'll quickly point out how foolish a question that is. We also have Lexys messenger, Magnus, a male Bi Tundra dragon and good friends with Lexy and Drake here's a little story Magnus enjoys some quality time at home on his time off. Lost in the heat of the moment, he fails to notice his royal audience walk in. Lexy's always had a copies of his housekeys, and free reign to enter as her advisor has a quite comprehensive library at his disposal. She believes he is away for the day. He tends to go out in the market district regularly, so it is safe to assume he is not at home while the sun is up. Looking for some recently passed articles for reference purposes, she grabs what she needs, and quietly hums to herself. It's only then on the way out that she notices her advisor at his most vulnerable. Him still none the wiser to her presence this whole time. She slowly slinks her way to the exit, but she can't help to stay curiously fixated as he reaches his climax. Without a peep, and sporting a deep blush, she stealthily sees her way out to spend the rest of the day processing the awkward moment. She has to admit to herself though, "Not too shabby.". King Maephalus IX He'd be the kind of guy that would shamelessly flaunt his wealth and power around, have the looks to impress royals/nobility/just about anyone else alike, and overall take advantage of his position and confidence to bag anything that caught his eye. It'd be said all he'd need to do is so much as glance at a you before you end up as one of his 'conquests', and he'd be shameless about it. Very different from his successor in more ways to count. Selfish, yet also radiating a strong aura that commanded influence. He was in charge, and he let you know it. The openess of his exploits (queens, kings, nobles, subjects and diplomats alike. No one was safe) impressed on Valden culture on the whole, and is said to be a main reason there is so much physical expression that goes on in it (and several allied countries) in the presesnt. His legacy will always live on. He is also the late father of Drake and Husband of Frieda We have some other side characters like Valette. She's the biggest name in Valden's primary port. She will make you work (and work hard), but succeed and the payout will all be worth it at the end of the day. She can be a demon in the sack once she gets going. She could probably use a couple lackies now that I think about it... She's a royal mountain dragon hybrid with no wings and dark green scales, with a light undertone from under her snout to her tail that's light teal. She's also the half sister of drake and maintains good relations with him. Some interior designs for the inside of Valden's castle. I always thought of it with a more classical element. At least in the areas the common folk might find themselves in. So you enter the main doors into the gallery. Heading head up the stairs, you head into the main acess in front of you, pass the large painting at the top on either side and you'll find yourself at the Throne Room staging area. The spiral staircase leads up the tower. The halls on either side of the Gallery take you into the wings of the castle (which are mostly offices). The entryways nestled on either side of the bottom of the stairs branch off towards other areas of the castle (the Great Hall, etc) I never really delved much into what's inside the castle that much so at least you get a general idea of what the inside looks like. Hope to get into other areas in the future! This one takes us inside Valden's castle to a familiar sight: The Throne Room. It's a much more grandiouse sight to take in when you take a step back. The room is designed to make visitors feel comfortable whether it is important business to be discussed or to entertain. It's large, it's ornate, and pretty well-lit. The access doors hiding in the back allow the king and his servents to enter and exit from. To note, the columns on the right end of the pic are mostly removed in the pic purely to show off the wall behind it. The friezes that cover the ceiling are a feature not only designed to draw the eye upward, but each strip having a purpose or telling a story. The dragon designs at the base all face towards the throne. The second layer portrays the folklore of the creation of Valden and the appointment of the first king. The top layer contains other depictions of imporant points of Valden's history or way of life. Finally, the top of the ceiling depicts the sun, along with the lunar cycle (an important aspect of Valden's creation folklore). The two statues in the back are designed to show off the strength and humility while simultaneously displaying Valden pride. Drake and Lexy really know how to satisfy their people... I fact, All royalty have sex with commoners, guards, other neighboring royalty, and their just treating them right, that's why they are respected and loved among their community. We also have some side characters of the neighboring royalty, specifically the wife of Eldan, Elium The general idea I have for them is that Eldan and Eluim may not be interested in each other, but they still spend a bit of money on each other to keep them satisfied. Eldan gifts a new building extension, she gifts fine marble for his baths, etc. They are both definitely sleeping around tho. They know each other is, but they just don't The we have the 3 big guys, side characters from the magma tribe Mola. Ridgeback, Swiftwind, and Redhorn Red horn is 9'5ft tall and an adult pure magma dragon, his scales are abit of an earthy light brown with kind of... Lighter brown undertone under his snout, under his tail and behind his legs, he has Dark brown Hard scales and constantly needs tailored clothes with how much sex he has everyday. He has a uncommon color of horns. He is well-prized among Molas people, he has a relaxed demeanor and intelligent, and very dependable in many situations, he will be found often accompanying ridgeback and swiftwind, he acts as an ambassador between magma tribes and Valden. Well seasoned rutter of royalty and strong and sturdy build. Up ndxt is Ridgeback, he is a pure adult magma dragon, he is a 10ft tall absolute unit, an breeding machine that once impregnated all the woman in his tribe for 2 weeks straight. Fueled on pure raw testosterone, can easily deadlift 1000kg, he also has quite the muscle gut. He has a kind of brown greenish scale color and a brown hard scale color, very rich output measured in gallons, he can break rocks effortlessly with his tail. Ridgeback is one of Molas top rutters, hes usually the 'break first smooth things out later' type of guy, complimented by his dominant personality, while he may not be the smartest, he surely makes up for it in his devotion for family, friends, and people. Swiftwind, hes an adult male pure magma dragon and 9ft tall, he has blue Grey scales complimented by green undertone usually covering the hard scaled areas. He has larger ears for better hearing, broader shoulder plates make for a convinient perch, very precise thrower, large plates are more smooth than spiked, despite his incredible dick size which is bigger than anyone else's, he can be quite fast and sneaky when hunting, he's another one of Molas top rutters and upbeat in nature, he is adept at tracking and hunting, and utilizes his pet rockbird maka to help In the hunt.
