He had come looking for you because you’d been so lost in your thoughts—concerned about Vein’s presence—that you hadn’t heard him call for you to give him his laundry, which was still in the dryer. “You can collaborate with each other,” he suggested. “I’ll have you wear matching clothing, like cute little dolls.”
