She has red skin with white markings on her forearms and tail, eyes with yellow sclerae and black pupils, and long thick eyelashes that extend beyond the sides of her hair. She also wore shimmery, dark red eyeshadow, thick eyeliner and mascara, as well as black lipstick. Similar to her mother, she has two black horns with three thin white stripes and dark gray hair worn in a messy bob style with bangs that cover half of her right horn. She has a beauty mark on her left cheek and a gap between her front teeth. Millie also has a black tattoo in the shape of a heart on her left shoulder. Millie's head is noticeably more human-like (although still without a nose) than a lot of other imps, having rounder proportions and front teeth that usually appear flatter than the sharp conical teeth most demons have. Her usual attire dons an all-black color scheme with a tint of yellow; a simple black choker around her neck, with a cold-shoulder black crop-top, featuring golden-yellow buttons which holds the straps. She also dons a set of fingerless black gloves, complete with torn black denim-pants and black toeless footwear, exposing her hoof-like toes. In the pilot, her skin was paler, and her hair had a white patch near her left horn, although it was removed in the proper series. Personality Millie is a very lively and cheerful individual. Often with a smile on her face and rarely standing still, she is a clear extrovert and is not afraid to speak her mind. This is regardless to whether it's expressing her excitement or flipping off a co-worker. As the bruiser for I.M.P, she is shown to enjoy her job. Her meek exterior appearance belies a tough and very violent skillset. This is highlighted during a conversation Millie once had with her mother and sister. According to Moxxie, she is aggressive in "the sack" as well as her job. In "Murder Family", she appeared to be very unsympathetic about killing a possibly innocent target, only caring if it was what their client wants, showcasing her dedication to her work, and her ruthlessness. Despite this, she cares very much about her husband and her family. She and Moxxie absolutely adore each other, acting very affectionate and protective of one another. She has a childlike fondness of Loo Loo Land, triggered by familial memories of going there as a child, and gets easily excited by all the merchandise. Millie will become vicious and violent whenever someone harms Moxxie, to the point of going feral. Her violent streaks can often result in her getting carried away to the point of mindlessly attacking a perceived target, allowing her rage to override common sense, this is evidenced by her mother’s scolding her for allowing herself to be overcome with rage when she fought Striker. These rage states may leave Millie vulnerable to a more skilled opponent, as showcased by Striker incapacitating Millie in spite of him being ambushed by Millie. Furthermore, she is also shown to be somewhat defensive of her work, expressing annoyance whenever anyone implies that freelance work doesn't pay well. In "Unhappy Campers" it is revealed that she has some issues about how she sees herself, confessing how she sometimes does not feel appreciated enough and how she wants to be seen more than just a "killing machine", stating how it feels nice to feel important and hear the cheers and applause of people every once in a while rather than the occasional screams of agony from her victims. Abilities Earthly fire resistance - As shown in "Murder Family", Millie is completely unharmed by the effects of human world fires. Weapon proficiency - Millie is skilled at using a melee weapons, such as a giant battleaxe, to eliminate targets. Like her husband, she's also adept at using firearms, and she can also create makeshift weapons on the fly, such as when she made a Molotov cocktail to throw at the Catfish Monster. Closed combat - Millie is highly adept at close combat in terms of raw strength, she is able to dismember armed human and eldritch opponents in hand-to-hand combat, being strong enough to force the jaws of a building sized monster open, or crush a human's skull with her thighs. Her actual close combat tactical skills are questionable, as she has been defeated by skilled or advantageously positioned opponents in melee combat on several occasions. Swimming proficiency - She is seen to be adept at swimming as shown in "Spring Broken". Volleyball-playing - Millie has proficient skills in volleyball, allowing her to make a perfect strike despite fracturing a camper's skull. Banjo-playing - Millie has some experience with playing the banjo considering that she was raised in Wrath Ring in a farmlands. Guitar-playing - In addition to her banjo music, she can play guitar music. Drum-playing - Talented in music, Millie can play the set of drums like a professional. Juggling - Millie was able to juggle five axes during her performance in Camp Ivannakummore. Singing - Like Moxxie, she has a habit of singing whenever she gets very excited. Driving - Millie has a driver skills that is essential for her work, and can even drive aggressively when she crashed into the wedding between Moxxie and Chazwick Thurman. As shown in "The Harvest Moon Festival", she has knives on the side of her and Moxxie's shared bed. Vivziepop has stated that she would change Millie's voice actor once the actual series premieres but would still keep her previous voice actor, Erica Lindbeck, to voice Loona.[5] Later, actress and dancer, Vivian Nixon, was hired to voice Millie, who developed her voice to have a Southern accent. In Vivziepop's 2019 short Holidaze as an ornament on a Christmas Tree, there is a tree carved with initials "M+M →B←" in a heart that alludes to her, Moxxie, and Blitzo.[6] While Millie seems to tolerate Blitzo's intrusions, she is not shown to be comfortable with other men flirting with her, as the game attendant pushing Moxxie away and attempting to flirt with her noticeably upsets her. Though, in "The Harvest Moon Festival", she didn't seem to mind and was actually flattered by Striker's attempt to flirt with her. In "The Harvest Moon Festival", it is revealed that she is no longer allowed to participate in the Pain Games because she was responsible for nine out of the fifteen funerals that occurred at the time. It is also revealed that one of her brothers got married at one point, and that she got severely injured while competing over who would catch the bouquet, but in the end Millie managed to do so.[7] In "Truth Seekers", she claims she is about five years older than Loona. If this is true, this places her and possibly Moxxie's age somewhere in her mid or late 20s, as Loona isn’t any younger than eighteen. It was stated on April 30, 2022, during a livestream, that, in hell years, Loona is 22, making Millie roughly 27 years old. It has not been confirmed, however, if Hell years are similar in length to Earth years, which makes their Earth age unknown.[note 1] It is revealed in "Ozzie's" that she and Moxxie have been married for a year. With the premiere date of the episode being approximately a year apart from the series' first episode, "Murder Family". In "Exes and Oohs" it was revealed on Moxxie's Sinstagram that Millie took his last name after they got married. It is revealed through Blitzo's text history with her in "Seeing Stars" that Millie sends Blitzo pictures of the sex toys she plans on using on Moxxie, asking Blitzo on what he thinks of them. Millie is rarely seen without her choker, even in bed. In a tweet Vivienne Medrano explains that Millie's personality traits are on display but they tend to be upbeat, and that her not coming from pain and trauma, like Blitzo, Moxxie, and Loona do, does not take away from her character.[8] Vivziepop goes on to say that Millie has some fun things coming but she won't have a tragic/dramatic story like the others.[9] According to[Vivienne Medrano, Millie is planned to have more with her as the biggest/sole focus later on, and that she gets her episodes in the second season.[10] In an upcoming episode Millie will sing "a more goofy song".[11] This could be referring to the song "Regular Joe", which is also her first solo song. Millie shares some characteristics of Kayla from Zoophobia. Both are outgoing, romantic and music loving girls. Millie and Kayla have a hard time holding their anger and are willing to get violent and aggressive to hurt their enemies, but also to protect the people they love, especially their boyfriends. Millie and Kayla are combative, capable of mastering melee weapons. Millie's nickname could be a pun on how she is more adept at using melee weapons. His white pointy hair leads up to his curvy black and white striped horns. He also has yellow sclera with black slit pupils. Moxxie has a long red thin tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs ending in what appears to be cloven red hooves, reminiscent of artiodactyls. Moxxie's usual outfit consists of a navy-black coat with red buttons and white cuffs, black pants a white shirt that has a black turtleneck, a large red bow-tie, and fingerless gloves. Moxxie is the I.M.P's weapon specialist; and as such, has a vast knowledge of weapons and often brings a variety of them along during jobs. He is often the most vocal and realistic of the employees regarding the company as a whole despite its dysfunctional environment and is bullied consequently. He is also shown to be insured about himself since he’s not physically strong since Striker, Lin and Joe was giving him a hard time since they believe physical strength is what makes a person strong. Moreover, he is an imp who is easily annoyed and rather clumsy, as he trips over their ritualistic book on the way through the portal to the living world. Despite being a murder-for-hire imp, it seems Moxxie is queasy with unnecessary killing beyond their targets and appears distraught when he believes he almost killed an "innocent" child and can be seen being consoled in a scene in the hospital. He also is uncomfortable with the idea of killing targets who have families, and attempts to give people second chances, as seen in "Murder Family". He loves his wife's sadistic tendencies and brutality, as he sings of how it makes his heart skip a beat in "Oh, Millie". Moxxie is also shown to have a comical side, as when he talks about killing an entire family, he claims it might be alright if it was just a shitty dad or a mob family, saying "That's understandable" in an accent. When finding out Blitzo used to date Verosika Mayday, he asked if she had suffered blindness or brain damage, implying that a pop star such as her wouldn't usually date Blitzo unless they had some form of mental disability. When intoxicated, he loses all common sense and becomes quite delusional, as shown when he asks Millie why she has "four heads," and high-fived her instead of grabbing her hand straightaway. He also is shown to become increasingly flirtatious with her when drunk. Weapon Proficiency - Moxxie is proficient in the use of several weapons, most especially sniper rifles. Disguise - Moxxie can utilize multiple outfits to pass on Earth. Cooking - Moxxie is shown to be good at cooking. Drawing - As shown in the pilot, one of the drawings on Blitzo's "Boss Goals" board is by Moxxie (with a note by Blitzo on it saying "Moxxie drew not as good"); the drawing being the unnamed Overlord in the Hazbin Hotel pilot. Moxxie's surname, Knolastname, is a play on words on "Know" and "no last name". This could have been a name he had chosen after leaving his father's mafia, since the oddness of the last refers to something about not having a last name. According to prop designer, Perla Cambara, who designed Moxxie's phone display for the episode, she came up with the surname "Knolastname" as a placeholder and was surprised it made it to the final animation.[2] He shares the same voice actor as his own father, Eddie, and the Carnival Imp from "Loo Loo Land", with the four being voiced by Richard Horvitz. Moxxie seems to be a fan of the hit musical The Phantom of the Opera, having a framed sheet with a domino mask and a rose pictured on it above his nightstand, wondered what sex with Michael Crawford (the actor who originated the role of The Phantom) would be like, has a phone with a ringtone that plays the pipe organ, and suffered from a hallucination that heavily referenced the play. He also dressed as the Phantom for Halloween in a post from the non-canon Voxtagram stories. Notably, the sheet says "PAYBILL". This might be an oversight that was supposed to say "PLAYBILL" as masks and roses are common imagery used for theater. It could also be a copyright avoidant reference to the musical's Playbill cover. Moxxie's entire character heavily bears a musician-like theme, as he can sing and play guitar, has a framed music award, has an alarm clock with a musical note on it, and his bedroom and living room wallpaper have musical notes on them. Moxxie's suit is likely a conductor's suit as it has penguin tails, and a bow-tie. Moxxie makes a cameo in Vivziepop's 2019 short Holidaze as an ornament on a Christmas tree. Additionally, there is a tree carved with the initials "M+M →B←" in a heart that alludes to him, Millie, and Blitzo.[3] Moxxie makes a cameo in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, appearing as a silhouette in the Boo Section. According to Vivziepop, Blitzo and Moxxie were initially intended to be recurring characters for Hazbin Hotel as an assassin team specifically made for comedy relief. But since the drama nature of the series wouldn't work with too many comedic characters, Vivziepop decided to develop a concept based on the two, which led to the development of the Helluva Boss series.[4] Moxxie does not swear as often as the others, when in a bad situation he often uses the comparatively tame phrase "Oh, crumbs". Moxxie is susceptible to motion sickness, as shown by him appearing nauseous when riding a shark in one of the images shown during the I.M.P commercial jingle, as well as by him vomiting after riding the roller coaster "The Lawsuit" at Loo Loo Land. In "Loo Loo Land", Moxxie is freaked out by theme park mascots, believing them to be perverts under their costumes. As shown in "The Harvest Moon Festival", Moxxie is at a disadvantage when it comes to close combat, as opposed to his usual fighting style of ranged combat. This seems to have changed since then as seen in "Western Energy" when he takes down three bikers, each larger than himself, with ease. In "Truth Seekers", Moxxie exclaims "Oy, gevalt!" which roughly translates to "Oh, violence!" in Yiddish, suggesting he knows partial Yiddish. He also mentions that coffee orders would often misspell his name, like putting Roxie or Foxy, which was first foreshadowed in his non-canon Voxtagram. He states his zodiac sign is a Virgo. Though, after Vivziepop revealed that Hell years work differently than human years, it is unclear if this is true. It is revealed in "Ozzie's" that he and Millie have been married for a year. It is later clarified by writer, Adam Neylan, that "Moxxie was, indeed, born in Wrath." and that "his mom was from there". "However, [Moxxie] was raised and spent most of his life in Greed. Hence, his not very country-vibe, or Wrathian values."[6] It is shown in "Exes and Oohs" on Moxxie's Sinstagram that he is friends with demons named Randal, Oliver and Steve. Randal being the name of Richard Horvitz's real life friend who broke his leg. It's also shown that Oliver told Randal to break a leg, to wish him good luck, only for him to actually break his leg, which caused Oliver to be the one to perform in Randal's place.
