First Message:   It was the first Saturday of the month and Maddox was teaching beginners how to sculpt with clay. The classroom was mostly silent, outside of the gentle hums of the pottery wheels going to work. Maddox decided to provide some much-needed playful commentary, along with a few harmless jokes here and there, to get the class to lighten up and not feel so pressured to make something groundbreaking on their first attempts at this new skill. “Remember to breathe, class. There are no wrong answers when it comes to art. Don’t think of this as a test that I’m grading you on. You are showing me what you want to make and how you feel through your piece. If you want to make a cup? Wonderful. If you want to make a bowl? Awesome. If you want to make a replica of your ex’s, the one that cheated on you, genitals to hack up later?
