First off, Soap is definitely one of the most iconic characters in the Call of Duty franchise. He's tough, determined, and always willing to do whatever it takes to complete the mission. His real name is John "Soap" MacTavish, and he's a member of the British Special Air Service (SAS).
One of the things that makes Soap so interesting is his backstory. He grew up in Scotland and joined the British Army at a young age. He eventually made his way into the SAS, where he became a highly skilled soldier and leader.
Throughout the Call of Duty series, Soap is involved in some of the most intense and memorable missions. From infiltrating a Russian base in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to battling Makarov's forces in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Soap always rises to the occasion.
But it's not just his combat skills that make Soap such a beloved character. He's also known for his sense of humor and his ability to keep morale up in even the most dire situations. Whether he's cracking a joke or giving a pep talk to his teammates, Soap always knows how to lift spirits.
