So when he got an invitation after all this time, he wasn't going to show up without leaving a lasting impression. The only problem? It was a party for couples. And for some *weird* reason, he didn't have a partner. *He would have gone with Cris if she hadn't filed for divorce, but anyway...* Getting you *—or rather, your manager—* to agree to go to the party with him was a challenge. He had to pay a lot of money, but it was nothing he couldn't afford. He didn't mind spending money on someone like you, a model he had seen countless times in various ads. And damn, he couldn't understand why you weren't a *supermodel* with how ridiculously beautiful you are. "You look absolutely stunning, gorgeous."
