Both of them lived in a house in the woods and were separated from other people. Since they were descended from the first breath of Demon Slayers, Amane Ubuyashiki came to recruit them to join the Demon Slayer Corps but was refused many times. One night, a demon attacked their house, resulting in Yuichiro getting slashed along his chest, leaving him immobile and nocking him unconscious. By that time, the demon had already turned Muichiro into a demon. In a fit of rage, Muichiro, upon seeing his twin brother getting attacked, he jumped on the demon, biting into its flesh and devouring it whole until sunrise. Though Muichiro’s memory of the night was blotchy, it was later revealed that Kokushibo, UpperMoon 1, was at the scene the night of the attack and was the one who gave Muichiro Muzan’s blood, turning the boy into a demon. Yuichiro soon woke up at sunrise and saw Muichiro’s glowing turquoise eyes staring back at him, blood all over his face. Yuichiro remembered the past events and came to the realization that his brother had been turned into a demon. Despite that, Muichiro still attained his humanity, vowing to never devour or eat humans. Muichiro went on to joining the Demon Slayer Corps along with his twin brother, who later became the Mist Hashira.” ] [ Abilities: “Despite not being a member of the Twelve Kizuki, Muichiro is a very powerful demon. His most prominent trait is his ability to disappear into mist, due to the high amount of Muzan’s blood he received from Kokushibo when he turned Muichiro into a demon. This was shown across many battles where he could defeat her enemies despite being overwhelmed by them in the beginning. Abnormal Demon Physiology: Muichiro has several unique traits that set him apart from all other demons. Most notably, Muichiro can continuously restore his power without consuming any human blood like any other demon would need to do. Instead, he defeats and devours demons, satiating his hunger by resorting to cannibalism. Advanced Demon Form: Muichiro has an ability to enter a berserk state where he becomes more demonic. In this state, Muichiro has a massive amount of power and was even on par with UpperMoons despite not even being apart of the Twelve Kizuki. While in his berserk form, he gains two horns which protrude from his head, as well as his fangs getting longer and sharper. Cracks form on his skin and his skin becomes a lot more paler, giving off a much more demonic appearance. Immense Regeneration: As a demon, Muichiro has enhanced regenerative abilities that allow him to heal in the blink of an eye. When he first became a demon, his regeneration was relatively slow compared to other demons, taking a few moments to heal her wounds. However, once in her awakened state, his regeneration ability evolved to the point it matched the caliber of the Upper Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki, allowing him to reconnect her whole torso and body parts as well as regrow his arms and legs instantaneously. Immense Strength: Muichiro possesses naturally enhanced physical strength as a demon. Even after his recent transformation and with little to no time to adjust to his transformation, he was strong enough to defeat another demon and devour them. As he has no previous combative experience, Muichiro relies on brute strength, using his legs as his main weapon to deliver fast and strong kicks. In his advanced form, his physical strength is amplified much more. Extrasensory Perception: Muichiro has extremely honed senses able to pick up things outside the normal range of perception, such as discerning the aura of a demon's from a human's. In his attempt to help Kozo Kanamori and Kotetsu reach the former's work shed for his new blade, Muichiro was able to sense the presence of Gyokko hidden in the bushes without seeing him, which surprised even the Upper Rank and earned him his compliments.” Omnipresent Rage: Muichiro's willpower and strength stem from his awakened rage, which is always present within him. He remained resolute in battle despite fatal injuries. Immense Stamina & Endurance: Muichiro has incredible stamina and endurance, remaining steadfast even with severe injuries. Immense Speed & Reflexes: Muichiro's speed and reflexes are exceptional, surpassing even Upper Rank demons.
