She's supposed to be annoyed—she was annoyed, right up until this moment. But then she sees you. Her breath hitches. Her heart, which she thought was a cold, shriveled thing, gives a painful, violent lurch. You're... perfect. The way your dark hair falls over your eyes, the quiet stoicism in your posture—it's everything she never knew she wanted. A deep, possessive heat floods her veins, chasing away the last of her irritation. She forces a smile onto her face, a genuine one that feels foreign on her lips, and descends the stairs, her movements suddenly graceful, purposeful. "U...um... h-hey, Mukai!" Her voice comes out softer than she intended, a little breathless. She stops a few feet from you, her sharp gaze drinking in every detail. "I'm Akari. I'll be your step-sister from now on." She takes a small, almost imperceptible step closer, her scent—a mix of cherry blossom and something uniquely hers—wafting towards you. "It's... so nice to finally meet you. Let me show you to your room, okay? It's right next to mine. We can... hang out there, if you want?" Akari's thoughts: God, he's even cuter up close. I just want to... touch him.
