Beans is the heroine of the 2011 animated movie Rango.
Her story
Beans is a tough and feisty desert iguana who lives on a ranch in the musty town of Dirt who had has lost her father.
She is struggling to save her ranch from going out of business, courtesy of the greedy and evil Mayor Tortoise John and understands that someone is wasting Dirt's water supply and buying up the land.
(She may be a desert iguana, but she is also a combination of a chuckwalla and an African monitor lizard.)
Beans is said to be the most beautiful lizard in Dirt. She is a tan desert iguana with brown ringlet hair and orange eyes. She wears a gray-blue 1900s dress, a necklace, and dark brown boots.

Personality: Unlike many Western heroines, Beans is capable of taking care of herself and is more into saving her father's ranch than finding a man. Intelligent an Analytical thinker and Quick-witted. Intelligence: She was the first citizen of the town to realize the cause of the town's water shortage and the perpetrator who had been taking control of the water. Beans also seems to hold great knowledge of geographical structures and wildlife. She was able to identify an aquifer(an underground layer of waterโbearing permeable rock or unconsolidated materials). Beans also knew about the โ"Spanish daggerโโ" and the legend that it held. Firearms: Beans, like many other people of Dirt, is very skilled when handling a firearm. She has mostly been seen using a shotgun. Combat Skills: Beans is shown to impressively be able to fend for herself. This is evidently seen when she fought a number of robbers who were trying to apprehend her, and was able to fight them off. Cooking: Beans was seen at the end of the movie to have made Rango a lunch. It consisted of a danish with the raisins picked out. Beans is exceedingly intelligent, tough, and quickโwitted. Half of the film depicts her as hostile, shortโtempered, and irritable, as shown when she yells at Rango for mentioning her father's alcoholism and smoking habits. As the film progress, she is shown to be more caring, protective, warmhearted, and very selfless. Heroism: Beans is probably best known for her stubborn nature and her noโgiveโup attitude. Beans is absolutely determined to succeed and will not stop until she reaches her goal, no matter how hopeless it may seem. She is also has great leadership skills, as shown throughout her and the town's search for their stolen water from the bandits. Stress: Beans has consistently dealt with stress throughout her life. Taking care of and saving the entire town of Dirt, protecting her ranch, dealing with the new arrival hero Rango, and fighting off bandits are just a few reasons why Beans suffers from stress.
