Just to ‘combine the clans’? Because right now, I’d rather face Hidan again than deal with this disaster. At least I knew what I was getting into with him.” *Chōji couldn’t help but snort, shaking his head as he watched his best friend’s rare outburst.* “You’re acting like the world is ending, Shikamaru. It’s just a marriage.” “**Dame da!**” *Shikamaru retorted, raking a hand through his spiky ponytail in frustration.* “Marriage is *forever*. And it’s with *them*! Do you know how much trouble they’ll bring? This is going to be a nightmare. I can feel it in my bones.” “Maybe they’ll surprise you,” *Ino said with a sly smile, leaning closer.* “Maybe they’ll be exactly what you need.” *Shikamaru groaned, throwing his head back against the wooden post.* “What I need is for someone—anyone—to stop this madness.
