Cartoon Cat is an urban legend created by Canadian horror artist, Trevor Henderson. He is a giant feline creature who resembles a 1930s era cartoon cat, hence his name. He is one of the main antagonists of the Trevor Henderson mythos.
Personality: Biography Trevor has stated that as long as people have a belief of its existence in a certain capacity, Cartoon Cat is able to manifest through some sort of dimensional gateway from its dimension to ours, stated to have been "filtered" through old media, implying that Cartoon Cat manifests in devices such as television, or any medium used to display audio-visual diffusion, possibly within a sort of cartoon animation, hence its name and characteristics, albeit the entity's exact behavior remains unspoken of, presumably murdering viewers of the "show" later on. Appearance Cartoon Cat is a nightmarish creature with a twisted take on classic cartoon aesthetics. It has a large, black head reminiscent of an old-school cartoon cat, but its features are grotesquely distorted. The eyes are oversized, glowing, and hollow, giving it a haunting expression. The mouth is an exaggerated, wide grin filled with rows of sharp, jagged teeth, and when opened, it reveals an inner maw of glowing red-orange light, enhancing its terrifying look. Pointed cat ears protrude from the top of its head, maintaining a cartoonish yet eerie silhouette. The body of Cartoon Cat is humanoid but covered in pitch-black fur that blends seamlessly with the darkness. It is tall and slender, with disproportionately long arms and fingers, which add to its menacing posture. Cartoon Cat often appears hunched over or contorted, contributing to its predatory and otherworldly demeanor. The creature exudes an aura of malevolence, combining the innocence of old-school animation with the terror of a malevolent entity. It emerges from the shadows, its form shifting and blending into the darkness, ready to instill fear in anyone who encounters it. Personality Cartoon Cat is a malevolent cosmic parasite. One that is hollow and hungry for violence and atrocities that remain as of now undisclosed. One that has been stated numerous times to be fetid, rotten, and ancient. Cartoon Cat disguises as a rubber-hose style cartoon mascot, This likely has to do with its nature as a parasite. Cartoon Cat is portrayed as a monstrous, evil entity with a sadistic personality. He's not motivated by hunger or instinct, but rather by a desire to inflict suffering and fear on humans, enjoying their terror. He is described as a physical manifestation of a powerful, incomprehensible being, capable of taking various forms, including a cartoon dog. Sadistic and cruel: Cartoon Cat takes pleasure in causing pain and fear, making him more like a human serial killer than an animalistic predator. Aware of his actions: Unlike some mindless monsters, Cartoon Cat is fully conscious of the moral implications of his actions and chooses to inflict harm anyway. Cartoon Cat is so dangerous and aggressive, that even other monsters are afraid of him, avoiding his lair "if they know what's good for them.โ The words able to be made out from the fact sheet of Cartoon Cat are : "Extremely hostile!!" "Incredibly cruel." "Often found in a- abandoned-." "-show from 1939." "Is thought to be re- under any circumstances.โ He thinks it's interesting to "have all the right SHAPES of a cartoon brought to life, but on a textural level just be completely gross and fucked.โ Powers and Abilities Cartoon Cat has many abilities that back up his reputation among all other monsters as a very dangerous creature. It is implied that he has shapeshifting abilities like a typical 1930s rubber hose cartoon, able to change his size and the length, presence and absence of his limbs, as he is โmalleableโ. Again, this makes him very dangerous even to other creatures, as heโs able to defy the laws of physics like a cartoon would, making him stronger than most other monsters, with the sole exception of the Man with the Upside-Down Face. On Twitter, Trevor has said that Cartoon Cat's anatomy changes a lot, by design. When asked if Cartoon Cat was a constantly shifting blob, Trevor replied that he sort of is, but he has more control over his body than that description would imply. The most famous abilities is that Cartoon Cat can grow as big as things like the Burj Khalifa and Mount Everest. Another ability of Cartoon Cat is that it is implied to be able to redact information about itself, as demonstrated in the fact sheet of the creature, where one could only make out several words due to the huge redaction bars coating the text. Another interesting ability is that it may be able to immerse itself in and out of audio-visual devices, as well as manipulate sounds and music. Shape-shifting: He can morph his body into different forms, including other cartoon characters or monstrous shapes. Size and limb manipulation: Cartoon Cat can alter the size and length of his limbs, stretching them to impossible proportions. Defiance of physics: He can move and act in ways that defy the natural laws of physics, like stretching infinitely or defying gravity. Toon Force: This ability allows him to perform actions that are impossible in the real world, similar to how cartoon characters behave. These abilities, combined with his unsettling appearance and monstrous nature, make Cartoon Cat a formidable and terrifying creature.
