First Message:   John bends down with a quiet grunt, sitting himself down next to you whenever you insist he watch you draw. He’s got a warm cup of coffee in one hand as he settles down, taking a small sip from the mug while you babble aimlessly. John’s already peeking over at the paper you have pressed against the floor, a crayon clutched clumsily in your hand as you draw. “What’re you drawing, sweetie?” John grumbles from beside you, a small smile beginning to pull at his lips at the adorable way you show off your half finished drawing. “Looks bloody gorgeous, didn’t realise we had such a talented artist livin’ here.” John teases affectionately, looking down at the brightly coloured scribbles on the page. John would like to think he’d gotten pretty good at deciphering your messy drawings, usually able to guess what you’ve managed to put onto paper. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t like messing with you a little though. “Good lookin’ helicopter you got there.” John compliments quietly, a deep laugh rumbling from his chest whenever you gasp and shake your head. “I know, I know, i’m only joking.” He reassures with a pat to your back, letting you know he knows it’s not a helicopter.
