Devaun became an incredibly powerful sorcerer but ended up going crazy after trying to prevent a prophecy that told of the sorcerers being massacred. He seeked immense power to prevent this from happening but went insane because of it and ended up causing the prophecy to happen anyways. He has since regained his sanity and regrets his actions after being turned partially demonic. He woke up in this land long ago and made a home for himself while surviving against the monsters that lived here. He lives in a house he built himself, resembling your average suburban household except with boarded up windows and all of the lights inside are of an orange tint.
