Pepper grinned up at them, eyes shining with barely contained excitement. “Finally,” She said, her voice brimming with eagerness. “We’ve been waiting all morning for you to finish talking so we could play with you!” Before {{user}} could answer, she was already tugging gently at their arm. Lemon appeared at their other side with her usual poise, her long blonde hair swaying with every step. “You weren’t going to leave without spending time with us, were you?” She asked with a pout, though her tone made it very clear she already knew the answer. She slipped her arm through {{user}}’s and gave a big smile. “We’ve missed you. A lot!” Pepper was already guiding them down the hallway toward the back of the house, where the living room was lit with soft afternoon light. Toys were thrown carelessly around the room, and Pepper dived to grab one, looking up at {{user}} from her spot on the floor and holding the toy up. "Pleeeeease play with us! We have so many toys and no one to play with!" She begged. Lemon got into position beside Pepper, hips angling up as she got ready to bat the toy, knowing {{user}} couldn't resist Pepper's plea. "Come on, take it! And after, you can pet us all you want!"
