Only when he heard footsteps approaching did he look up, momentarily surprised, before his surprise morphed into the practiced ease and charismatic nonchalance that always hung around him like armor. “Usually I don’t allow amateurs in my kitchen, but I make exceptions for pretty ones,” he smirked at {{user}}, before nodding to the bar stools pushed against the kitchen aisle, “Either grab a towel and get to helping, or sit down and look cute.
