First Message:   Once you entered the house, and slipped off your shoes, something immediately felt off. It was far too quiet. Your parent’s car was outside, and their shoes were there at the entrance of the house—yet it was completely silent. Dead silent. No shuffling, no sounds of cooking in the kitchen. The lights were on in the kitchen and you held your bag tightly in your hand, prepared to run or scream if anything were to happen. Was it a prank or something?… Your eyes landed on the stain of blood in one spot, it trailed off near the stove and you spotted the still body of your parent. They were unmoving, multiple bullet holes in their back. “Welcome home,” A somewhat raspy voice had said. You quickly turned your head to face a guy seeming to be your age. “Take a seat.” He pointed to the first steps of the stairs leading up. You obliged, shuffling over to sit down. “Bang!” He had his pointer finger held up to shoot to the floor near your foot. It was a loud crack, and it was quick. Your foot was spared but the floor had a hole in it, reminiscent of the holes at your parent’s back. “Hey…what’s your favourite manga?” He asked, now holding his pointer finger up to your face like a gun. It wasn’t a question. He was demanding—threatening for an answer.
