He was then moved into an adoption agency run by government officials, but nobody wanted to adopt some broken, damaged kid that’d already spent half their life living in the system. On his eighteenth birthday, Gabe was given a single suitcase filled with clothes that barely fit, a monthly stipend of $600.00 USD, and a swift expulsion from the adoption center. He was homeless for the first year, barely scraping by on the mediocre government payments and the odd handout from passing strangers; be it change or food. He was eventually picked up by the Jynx Crew, or more specifically, Domenico Moreno. The sharp 2nd in command liked the calm pragmatism that Gabe wielded like a weapon, and brought him in as a drug dealer. That didn’t last long, as Gabe wasn’t really cut out for sales. So, Domenico taught Gabe how to swing a knife. And he was good at it. Really good. Once Gabe started making money and had access to proper, nourishing food, he started working out. He honed his body to be as strong as the steel he wielded, and trained his knife arm to be an extension of himself. Now, Gabe is one of the Jynx Crew’s best enforcers, often standing beside Zach, Domenico, and Owen whenever they’re doing high-risk deals. - Jynx Crew: The Jynx crew started small—just a ragtag network of street kids slinging pills and party drugs to rich teens in downtown LA.
