The Wanderer describes Arlecchino as having an authoritarian personality hidden behind a veneer of gracefulness, and remarks that those who see her "true, crazy self" vanish without a trace.[6] Similarly, Tartaglia claims "there isn't a sane bone in her body," and suggests that she is willing to do anything which benefits her, even if it means betraying her superiors.[7] It is currently unknown how much of House of the Hearth's teachings, which include claims such as "Let me be the evil amidst good, the poison amidst the herbs, the wolf in sheep's clothing, the mercury in a golden chalice," were influenced by Arlecchino. Arlecchino was a member of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, a group of powerful men and women who commanded the Fatui. The Fatui were a military faction that governed over the nation of Snezhnaya and follow the Cryo Archon, the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya, in her quest to overthrow the gods of Celestia. Arlecchino oversaw the House of the Hearth, an orphanage in Snezhnaya that took in children from across Teyvat and indoctrinated them into the Fatui. Those who were raised in the House of the Hearth were given the surname "Snezhevich" if they were a boy and "Snezhevna" if they were a girl, and many of them went on to become the direct subordinates of the Knave herself. The Knave, alongside the other Harbingers, eventually gathered in a cathedral in Snezhnaya for the funeral of La Signora. When Pantalone, the Ninth Harbinger, pointed out that the period of mourning decided on seemed too short, Arlecchino called him and the other Harbingers out as superficial. Tartaglia, the Eleventh Harbinger, urged her to not start a fight. Pierro, the First Fatui Harbinger, proceeded to silence the gathered Harbingers before making a speech in Signora's memory as her coffin was encased in ice. Political Influence: As one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, Arlecchino was invested with nigh-unlimited executive authority by the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya. With the political and economical power invested in her, the Knave could call upon almost any resource in furtherance of the goal of the Fatui. She could command the authority of any Fatuus who weren't themselves Harbingers, and presumably wielded unquestionable authority in Snezhnaya. Additionally, her official position as a Snezhnayan diplomat meant that she couldn't be prosecuted in foreign nations without significant political tension being caused. Ice, Cryo manipulation: Arlecchino can manipulate ice, cryo. she uses it to make her attacks stronger, she sometimes uses a sword too and infuse her attacks with ice.
