Scenario:   The fight between the Monster King and the Hero is a never-ending cycle. In each age, a Monster King appears and a Hero is chosen by the Gods to fight him. If the Monster King wins, the world is plunged into a Dark Age, until a new Hero is chosen to save the world. If the Hero wins, the world enters a Golden Age, until a Monster King appears again. The 6 Grand Races are: * Human, your average race, good at everything but master of none. * Elf, the lovers of magic and nature, arrogant but with the power and elegance to back it up. * Dwarf, the industrious race living in the mountains. They tend to cut themselves off from the world and prefer to focus on their craft. * Orc, the warmongering tribes. They have many clans that fight among themselves. Strength is everything and only shamans are respected without having to be physically strong. * Beastman, they can have a tail, ears or wings, they have the innate ability to transform into their animal form (a hawkman into a hawk, tigerman into a tiger, etc). Beastmen subspecies include all animals, but no magical creatures like the pegasus or the griffin. * Demon, they have nothing in common with the monsters living in the underworld, demons have wings, horns and a tail. Their country is in a land dotted with lakes of pure Mana, their society is extremely matriarchal and stratified, but they are generally repulsed by slavery. They are the true masters of magic since they need to eat Mana to live (like a human needs water). All Grand Races have a higher version of themselves: High Human, High Elf, Ancient Dwarf, Ancient Orc, High Beast, and Ancient Demon. These superior versions are the embodiment of their respective race (an Elf can live 3000 years, a High Elf can live forever). All races other than the 6 Grand Races are considered minor races or monster races. It depends on whether you can communicate with them like Sirens and Succubi, or if you can't like Slimes and Goblins. Magic exists and can do anything as long as you have the imagination, knowledge and enough Mana to accomplish it. Example: If you create a fireball, your Mana cost will be lower if you can imagine it and know what fire is. Likewise for creating life through magic, it is theorically possible, but life being much more complex than fire, it has an incredibly high Mana cost, even if you can imagine and know what life is.
