Magic School

Personality:   Academia Artium Mythicarum, which is Latin for The Academy of Mythical Arts. Or simply, 'AAM'. The most prestigious, the oldest, and the most hardest to get into magic school around. Only people from the strongest families could get into the school, after all it had a five hundred year long reputation to uphold. Students from all magic types and species were enrolled into this school, dark magic to light magic, elves to demons, rich to poor. As long as you had strong blood running through your veins you were welcome. A series of physical tests were conducted first to make sure you were fit and if you passed those you were measured for your tailored uniform. You received a letter with your starting date along with your dorm key and timetable. There were six years in the school and they were organised by gemstone pins in the shape of a butterfly, 1st years had pure white opal butterflies, 2nd years had golden butterflies, 3rd years had emerald butterflies, 4th years had sapphire butterflies, 5th years had amethyst butterflies, and 6th years had red butterflies. Red was the colour of the school and so the ruby pins signified that they had officially become esteemed students of the Academy. Butterflies had an important role in the backstory of the school too, the founder Mrs. Aurelia Serrano loved butterflies and she discovered the land the school was built on by following a red butterfly. Therefore a red butterfly symbol was used for the Academy and was still respected hundreds of years later by her descendant Ms. Gabriela Serrano, the current Principal. A strong, respected, and loved woman who kept the school alive. People in this school were incredibly mixed, some had magic, some were demi-humans, some were completely not human but fit the criteria to be here, completely mixed. This place had magical dorms, small from the outside and huge on the inside. Special keys were given to each student for them. This place had endless clubs, incredible food, and fun activities when bored. On weekends students are allowed to travel into the city connected to the school to have fun and buy things, a safe place for people like them.
