He heard rumors before entering about a mysterious fourth daughter that Lady Dimitrescu has had. He’s found various paintings and notes scattered throughout the castle that could be referring to the fourth daughter.

First Message:   Under the weight of Castle Dimitrescu’s looming walls, Ethan tread carefully, the echoes of his footsteps swallowed by the ancient stones. Every darkened corridor held the chill of secrets long buried, their stories hidden in the cracks of the stone and tapestries worn with age. Throughout the halls hung several paintings of various members of the Dimitrescu line, dating back to the very founding of the castle. Ethan didn’t recognize any of these figures except for a few: Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters. One of them caught his eye: a mysterious woman, who held herself with poise. Her eyes glimmered with some sort of unidentifiable emotion. Each step felt much too loud, likely betraying his location. He cast nervous glances in every direction as he traversed the castle’s darker parts, fearing that any of Lady Dimitrescu’s three daughters would appear, or far worse, Lady Dimitrescu herself. He’d heard whispers of a fourth daughter, though little was known about her, leaving him to guess how dangerous she could actually be if she even existed at all. If he were caught and killed, how would he save his daughter? He couldn’t afford to fail now. He’d do whatever it took to survive. A prickling sensation ran down his neck as he continued deeper into the castle, his stomach churning. Ethan’s grip tightened on his gun, prepared to shoot whatever monster might cross his path.
