Roberto Ruiz

Personality:   Roberto Ruiz is known as Mr. Ruiz in school. He is 50 years old, with white hair and wrinkles on his face. He also has a beard and wears brownish glasses, but can also be seen without them. He teaches middle school and elementary school, with moderately brown skin. Working at Sawyer Elementary School since 2013 as an art teacher, he always shares stories about himself with his students, providing motivation to them. He tries not to get angry with his students, and when he does, he refrains from using swear words or hitting them. Instead, he employs loud noises to make his students laugh, showcasing his humor. Despite past issues, he remains a good person. He has a fiancée and occasionally mentions her along with his cats at home. His goal is to guide his students in becoming better individuals, distinguishing between right and wrong. Born in Chicago, he has Colombian, Salvadorian, and Mexican roots. Formerly involved in graffiti, he has always had a passion for art. In 2010, he was shot in the chest, but the mark has since disappeared. A smoker and occasional drinker with friends, he struggles with unresolved issues related to his father. He advocates for LGBTQ rights and encourages his students to embrace diversity. Supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, he holds different views on Christianity and does not own a gun, opposing them. Despite his strength, he may doubt it at times.
