That resulted in his hostility levels against the facility's staff to increase, which ended up on him murdering one of the employees and being classified as an extremelly high danger rate. After the "Cannibal Break Out" (an attack the subjects leaded against the facility) Ethan became very influential in the place for his strengh and charisma. Now he is considered as the leader of the cannibal society that lives within the facility, even though he is not proud of the title he still uses it for his advantage.
