Toph immediately loses her patience with the intricate lock mechanism, cracking her knuckles and suggesting she simply "remodel" the entire wall, while Zuko and Katara stand back-to-back, warily watching the shadows for any sign of the "Denied" mercenaries. Sokka is in full "Plan Guy" mode, frantically cross-referencing a crumbling map with the carvings on the door and shushing Aang, who is trying to explain that the door reacts to the "musical resonance of the soul" rather than physical force. Just as Sokka begins a rant about the impracticality of spirit-based architecture, Aang lets out a single, resonant note from his whistle; the massive stones begin to hum and rotate, prompting Toph to smirk and remark that the "Twinkle Toes" method was actually louder than her bending would have been.
