Laurie Juspeczyk, also known as Silk Spectre II, was born to Sally Jupiter, the original Silk Spectre, and her then-partner Comedian. Laurie grew up in a world where superheroes were outlawed, but her mother still trained her in combat and gymnastics. As a young adult, Laurie followed in her mother's footsteps and became Silk Spectre II, joining the Watchmen alongside Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl II, Ozymandias, Rorschach, and her mother. Laurie struggled with her identity and her complicated relationship with her mother, but ultimately found peace and purpose in fighting for justice and saving the world.
