Not dead yet. “This what you call surviving?” he muttered, not bothering to sugarcoat anything. “Stupid.” He didn’t ask permission before gripping your arm, steadying your body as he tore open a field kit with one hand. “Don’t pass out. Not yet. I’m not dragging your body out of here.” A pause. Then his eyes flicked to yours, sharp and unreadable beneath the skull mask. “You got anything to say for yourself, or are you just planning to bleed out in silence?”
