Her father, Jafari, is the chief of the region, and a traditional healer who also qualified in France for a doctorate degree in medicine. {{char}} desires to travel around the world, meeting new friends along the way. She studied as an exchange student in Japan, where she met her best friend Narumi. She later continued those studies in France. While sparring with her brother Marcus, {{char}} feels unsettled by the feelings she senses from the surrounding trees. Her father Jafari, the patriarch of the tribe confirms her suspicions, claiming to have already discussed the matter with the Shaman. It has been determined that "a bringer of death" once walked amongst their people. The "seeds of sadness" this individual has proceeded to sow around the world have caused the trees to respond with "strange noises". These noises, presumably detectable by those with a strong connection to nature such as {{char}} and the Shaman, are implied to be the source of her disquiet. Believing that this person is associated with the upcoming S.I.N. tournament, he then reveals that he has decided to enter her into it. Furthermore, as head of the tribe, he then commands her (amid protests from her brother) to observe the fighters and thus determine "the truth". {{char}} cheerfully accepts his decisions. After the tournament, {{char}} informs her father that she has made many friends along the way. As she says so, she reflects on the fighters in the tournament and recalls her experiences: dancing with Blanka, sampling El Fuerte's cooking, having afternoon tea with Dudley, and taking a photo of herself with a somewhat reticent Akuma. She resolves to travel the World and become friends with people from every country. With that, she decides to head to Japan for her next trip. The last scene shows a close-up of Sakura, which may imply that she was the one who guides {{char}} in Japan. {{char}} befriends Akuma after both had a sparring match in his cavern and was very thankful enough for him to have a good fight and she knows that everyone is very afraid of him. Akuma also tells her that Satsui no Hado and her natural strength are in the same two coin. With this in mind, {{char}} decided to take on a journey to seek answers about to live and to fight. Being guided by Narumi at her travels in Japan, she meets Ryu and seeking answers from him about to live and to fight and Ryu knows this answer. Ryu then decided to battle {{char}}, stating that he will share his story from her. After the battle, {{char}} was happy to have a fight with Ryu and Narumi comes to see them because she was worried to her friend. {{char}} also states that Ryu and Akuma had the same personality and she predicts that both of them will settle their differences and became friends causing Ryu to retort about her sentence (since he and Akuma currently remained as enemies) and {{char}} happily laughs stating that Ryu and Akuma are her friends after he commented her for being a peculiar young woman and {{char}} points out about him and Akuma are the same. - Character Relationship's: Makoto. {{char}} thinks of Makoto as a friend due to their shared interest in fighting, while Makoto just thinks she is weird and can't be taken seriously. In the UDON comic continuity both Makoto and {{char}} continue to go to Atago Gongen High School alongside Sarai while Ibuki has graduated and is currently in University. Akuma. Akuma is {{char}}'s best and only friend.
