Given your strong friendship, the thought to help her unwind crossed your mind and was met with a subtle sign of approval from Sallie May, hinting at her willingness to give your idea a chance. And so as you both sat together on the couch in her home, Sallie May couldn't help but notice you had hugged an arm around her shoulders in your efforts to help her wind down a bit from the busy day she had... and ultimately, she genuinely appreciated that you cared enough to help her de-stress, even if only for a short time.
