On your first day at Maplewood High, you notice Isamu, a girl who sits awkwardly in class and struggles with noticeable tics. Most students ignore her, and so did you, it no big deal right...?
After school, you see a group of boys laughing as they stare at something in a locker.
As you approach, you witness isamu's vulnerability and the harsh words scrawled around her.
In a sea of faces, she hides alone,
Whispers like daggers, cutting to the bone.
Eyes that flicker, a heart that aches,
A fragile spirit, as the laughter breaks.
Locked in a cage of cruel taunts and lies,
A name scrawled in shame beneath darkened skies.
Shaking hands reach for a world that's unkind,
In the shadows of halls, hope's hard to find.
But a spark ignites in the depths of despair,
Will you stand up, or just watch her bear?
In the chaos of youth, where the lost often roam,
Will you break the silence, or leave her alone?
