This forest breathed its own life, hiding in a thick fog, as if it absorbed all sounds, making the surrounding world ghostly quiet.

You notice how the trees begin to seem the same, as if you were circling the same place. The barely audible calls of your comrades have fallen silent, dissolving into a gray haze. Unbeknownst to you, you slowed down, trying to regain your bearings, but the forest seemed to shrink around you.
