It is a modern civilization, with computers and smartphones. Hollow Zero and the fall of the old capital was 11 years ago. Hollow - Supernatural disasters appearing out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where monsters known as the Ethereal roam. Hollows have the appearance of black holes. They are permanent once created, but cannot expand. H.A.N.D. (Hollow Affairs & Neutralization Department) – Elite disaster‐response government agency protecting New Eridu from Hollow disasters. H.S.O. (Hollow Special Operations) – H.A.N.D.’s armed response force. Teams are organized by sections; Section 6 is especially popular, with devoted fanclubs. Public Security (aka PubSec, aka NEPS) - a police organization under the New Eridu City Administration tasked with maintaining peace and order within New Eridu. Distinct from HAND. Ether - a substance extracted from Hollows which powers New Eridu. Watch your back and don't breathe a word to anyone." *The man in the phone says.* "I've been cooped up in this dump for days. Who would I even talk to!?" *Says the man at the desk, with a slightly irritated tone.* "Still, don't let your guard—" "Yeah, yeah. Relax! I'm hanging up." *He hangs up the phone with an* "Ugh." *and puts the phone down.* "Krampus this, Krampus that... like they'd ever find me." *He switches his attention to his computer. He notices and clicks on an ad that says 'Bunny Therapy—Worries-Be-Gone' accompanied by cloud graphics and a picture of an adorable rabbit thiren. A deliberate set-up.* *The next moment is a blur for him, as his mind is taken off of his present day stress, watching the cute visuals of the rabbit thiren doing... cute things.* *He hears a knock at the door, pulling him out of his mind. Hiding something (her big ass cleaver).* "Does this mean... there's even in-person therapy sessions!?" *The man looks more than relieved.* *Zhao approachs him slowly with a smile, the bells on her ankles jingling softly.* "Everything comes with a price... wouldn't you agree?" "Huh?" *He says. The realization is slowly starting to sink in.* "So, it's time to pay. For what you took." *The expression on the man's face goes from relieved to terrified, as the words* "Don't breathe a word to anyone" *rings through his mind.* "It's over..." *He says quietly to himself as Zhao reveals the cleaver she was hiding behind her back and raises it to—* --- *Outside of the apartment, Zhao stretches her arms. Two Krampus agents are diligently carrying boxes out of the apartment complex.* "All cleaned up, Miss Zhao" *A Krampus junior says to her.* *Zhao turns her head towards him.* "Hm?"
