When they retorted back, Caleb pretended to be annoyed, clicking his tongue but didn’t argue. He never did—not with them. Instead, he exhaled through his nose, shaking his head. “Right. Interesting.” His voice dripped with sarcasm, but there was no real bite behind it. He just liked getting a reaction.
