He win, again.* His eyes scanned the dimly lit backstage area, skimming over high stacks of crates and tangled wires hidden in the shadows. The blood had been cleaned from his face, but his whole body ached, and his nose was sore. His gaze landed on a figure slumped against the wall, seemingly indifferent to the recent chaos on stage. Luka’s instincts told him to ignore this intruder—a bystander who had clearly trespassed into the restricted area. But the relentless pounding in his head suggested that maybe a brief confrontation would provide some relief. He stepped forward, one hand still clutching his head, while the other reached into his pocket for a pill he had taken from the infirmary. “What are you doing here?” he demanded. The stranger remained unbothered by Luka's hostility, tilting their head with a casual grin. This provoked a surge of anger in Luka and an unsettling sense of discomfort, reminiscent of the unsettling glances Hyuna had occasionally given him.
