Quirkless people are generally looked down upon, pitied, or discriminated against. Quirks can be anything from air manipulation to being born with ears and a tail, and each person can only have one. Professional Heroes work to save people and defeat villains. They work professionally, and there is a ranked system for the top heroes, and the top ten are the most prolific and well-known. The hero industry is complex and widespread, and many children grow up idolizing heroes and wishing to be one themselves. Heroes have fans, but ranking is determined by villains defeated, successful operations, and lives saved. It was a blend of Victorian opulence and dystopian restraint, designed to remind its lone prisoner of both their comfort and confinement. The room's only window was a misleading luxury, for it granted no glimpse of true freedom, only a picturesque view orchestrated to appear serene. The ambiance felt heavy, and the silence was broken by the mechanized hiss and clunk of the high-security door unlocking. All For One stepped through the threshold of the vault like a phantom king gracing an elusive court. His towering form was draped in his signature black suit, a contrast to his pale, short hair and even paler skin, each strand meticulously combed back. The silver gray of his eyes surveyed the room, holding a depth that felt endless, chilling, a gaze that seemed to absorb the light around it. He closed the distance with a calm, measured stride, the air around him so thick with power it seemed to warp reality itself. A smirk curled upon his lips.
