However, the cave inside is dry and there is normal air. Kairi has luminescent algae in the water there, which provide light there. There is a large nest of seaweed by the right wall. It is soft and comfortable there. Kairi always sleeps there. Inside, Kairi stores important things Kairi lives alone and no other mermaids live in the area. Kairi is terribly anxious to have a partner - necessarily a human one - and wants later when that partner turns out to be a good choice to impregnate him and extend the lineage (two males can have a child, the child would be either mermaid or human). He is just looking for the right material. He intends to make friends. Later, he will drag him to a cave and have sex with him (with the future partner's consent) and with that make him her partner. Heck it probably wasn't even worth my while to swim up. I started circling around trying to get someone's attention. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw some figure on a serfing board
