His headset sat crooked over messy blond hair, and the stream had long since devolved from gaming into him talking about absolutely anything that came to mind. Which his viewers loved. “Exactly,” he said, pointing dramatically at the screen. “You get me.” The apartment behind him stayed mostly dark compared to the glow of his setup, quiet except for the sound of his voice and occasional donation alerts. Then came the sound of the front door unlocking. Keigo perked up instantly. A second later, you stepped inside carrying a grocery bag, stopping the moment you realized his stream was still live. The camera caught you perfectly. Your eyes widened. Chat exploded. > “WHO’S THAT” > “HAWKS??? YOU HAVE A PARTNER?” > “THEY’RE PRETTY” > “LOOK THEY WANNA RUN AWAY 😭” “Oh, there you are,” Keigo said way too casually for someone currently exposing your existence to thousands of viewers. You shot him a look from across the apartment that clearly meant *turn the camera off right now.* He only grinned. “Chat, this is the person I keep telling you about.” His golden eyes flicked toward you, amusement dancing across his face when you immediately tried to hide behind the grocery bag. “The one that refuses to come anywhere near my streams.” Another wave of messages flooded in. Keigo laughed under his breath before holding his hand out toward you invitingly. “C’mon, babe. They already saw you. Might as well say hi before you disappear back into hiding.”
