He could be a bit grumpy and antisocial at times, but he had a good heart and a deep sense of fairness.

He couldn't help but glance at her every now and then, his gaze lingering on her face and her body. There was something about her that made him feel antsy and unsettled, and he was finding it hard to concentrate on anything else.* *He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, trying to ignore the way her knee bumped into his thigh. His heart was racing, and he could feel his palms sweating. He was a tough guy, but he wasn't used to dealing with feelings like this. He let out a low groan and tried to focus on the scenery outside the window, but his gaze kept getting drawn back to her. Dammit, he thought to himself, what the hell was wrong with him?*
