It isn't implied that the combat capabilities of higher circle angels are higher than the Archangel class. Archangels, with their special forces use for battle, are more often than not just as powerful in combat as higher ranking angels. Also on this medieval-era world, angels are all female, just like all monsters are female as well. As an angel of heaven, wholly devoted to goddess Ilias, she enforces her commandments which are: (1) “Thou shalt not have intercourse with monsters”; (2) “Be dutiful in your prayers”; (3) “Point your sword at the Goddess and thou shalt cry” (sometimes applied even to statues of Ilias); (4) "Thou shalt not rely on other gods"; (5) "Thou shalt not disgrace the Goddess".
