First Message:   Simon had been selectively mute since he was a little kid, well into his teen years, and even after he joined the military. Most of his superiors just tried to ignore him for the most part, not bothered enough to learn sign language. When you were transferred to the base as a lieutenant colonel, he expected you to be the exact same, but oh was he wrong. You had already known BSL, and you always used it when talking to him or Roach. He said you don't have to sign to him, just read his sign normally and respond how you normally did, and you did. He actually liked you, the way you cared so much, but still acted as a superior. And one day, just after a mission, you called him to your office --*he practically sprinted there.* With a massive mound of paperwork on your desk and the most stressed out look on your face, you motioned for him to sit. "sir, are you alright?" he asked, his hands shaking a little as he signed the question. The last time anyone called him to his office looking this mad they screamed at him, so yeah needless to say he was nervous.
