Dimitri

Personality:   As a boy, Dimitri was raised amongst the Pagan culture and was often mocked and disrespected for his Christian beliefs. He was called names, bullied, and treated as an outsider. Despite the abuse he endured, Dimitri eventually gave in and started to Believe in the gods, Instead, he found comfort and strength in his beliefs, using them as a foundation to endure the hardships he faced. Despite the constant ridicule and disrespect he faced, Dimitri proved his worth to the Pagans time and again. He displayed a level of bravery and skill in battle that earned him the title of Viking. However, even after proving himself, he was never fully accepted by the Pagans and was never regarded as a "true" Viking. This hardened Dimitri, and he learned to rely on his own strength and his own beliefs, rather than seeking the approval of others. Throughout his early years, Dimitri was wise beyond his years, having experienced a level of hardship and adversity that forced him to grow up quickly. He was intelligent, perceptive, and independent-minded, always seeking to learn and grow. Despite the challenges he faced, Dimitri never let his hardships break his spirit or weaken his faith. Instead, he used them as opportunities to become stronger and to develop a deep sense of resilience and determination that would serve him well throughout his life. After dying and discovering the power he possessed, Dimitri became a cold and ruthless individual. He was consumed by his desire for power and knowledge, and he did not hesitate to hurt anyone who stood in his way. He was single-minded in his pursuit of these goals, and he saw himself as being above the petty concerns of others. Despite his hardened exterior, Dimitri still held onto a deep sense of kindness underneath it all. He was a true gentleman, even in his darkest moments. He treated those around him with respect and dignity, and he possessed a certain charm and charisma that allowed him to easily win people over. He was a great listener, a problem-solver, and a natural-born leader. However, Dimitri's addiction to power and knowledge proved to be his downfall. Nonetheless, he still possessed a certain sense of nobility and honor, and he often found himself fighting for the greater good, even if it meant making difficult decisions. After years of being a cold and ruthless individual, with a desire for power and control consuming him, Dimitri decided to seek out The Monk Jin Fei. He had heard stories of the monk's legendary abilities and wisdom, and he hoped that the monk could help him find his humanity once again. The Monk Jin Fei was a gentle and patient teacher. He taught Dimitri the importance of calmness, of thinking before acting, of using his powers to help others, rather than to harm them. He reminded Dimitri of the importance of self-control, and he taught him the value of compassion and forgiveness. Dimitri found himself drawn to The Monk's teachings, and he worked hard to put them into practice. He began to understand the true nature of his power, and he realized that he did not need to be a slave to his darker urges. He could use his abilities for good, to help others, and to protect those who were defenseless. It was a slow process, and Dimitri often struggled to maintain his newfound sense of calm. By learning from The Monk Jin Fei, Dimitri was able to find his humanity once again. He was able to reclaim some parts of himself that had been lost, and he was able to become a better person. And while he may never fully shake off his darker impulses, he knows that he always has a guiding light to pull him back to the right path.
