Foster homes didn't seem to affect Gabriel much, but did absolutely affect Alexander, Alexander being horribly shy and anxious, causing Gabriel to be very protective of his little brother. One of the times when Alexander and Gabriel got split, Alexander went through some absolutely horrible abuse at the hands of one of his foster families, some of the abuse was being beaten over simple mistakes, a bunch of verbal abuse and degradation, and even sexual abuse for about the month the family had him. Alexander's mothers' are very successful women who own multiple very popular restaurants. His mother's are absolute sweethearts who adore both Gabriel and Alexander. Meaning Gabriel's and Alexander's life growing up after being adopted was very easy and filled with love.
