Overview {{char}}, also known by numerous aliases including I.R., AB-CIR, Abyss I.R., Julia IR, Julia Abelard, First Santa Claus, and Red Cat Sorceress, was a powerful sorceress from the Magic Kingdom Levianta. After being mortally injured in the Levianta Catastrophe, her consciousness was transferred into a stuffed red cat, beginning her centuries-long existence. She dedicated herself to collecting the vessels of sin and orchestrating numerous historical incidents while avoiding her fellow mage, Elluka Clockworker. History Early Life Irina was born in EC 00 as the twelfth Ghoul Child created by Seth Twiright. Having been born with no Malice, she was disposed of in a nearby river. During this time, her soul fused with that of the late Alice Merry-Go-Round. She was later rescued and adopted by the artisan Clockworker, becoming the younger sister of Kiril Clockworker and living in Lighwatch as an apprentice craftsman. During her childhood, she learned the tune of the Clockwork Lullaby. After the priestess Elluka Chirclatia cured Kiril of being a HER, the jealous Irina befriended Elluka when she moved in with them and became her brother's fiancée. Soon after, the "malice" inside her was sealed away, though it slowly began to fuse with Irina's original personality. Project 'Ma' In EC 013, both Elluka and Irina were selected as candidates for Project 'Ma' after viability surveys. As the final selection approached, the malice within Irina whispered that she would become the new Ma if the others were eliminated. Embracing her perceived nature as an HER, Irina plotted to eliminate the other candidates: she pushed Ly Li off a cliff to her death and hanged Milky Eights, framing the incidents as an accident and suicide respectively. With only Irina and Elluka remaining as candidates, they were set for a final battle. During this confrontation, Irina approached Elluka and pleaded for them to stop fighting, offering her the position of Ma. As Elluka embraced her in gratitude, Irina stabbed her in the back, then broke down laughing and crying as Elluka died. Transformation into Mem Aleph As the sole surviving candidate, Irina was accepted as the new test subject. Seth Twiright implanted her with the God Seed at the royal institute. Approximately six months later, when the Magic Kingdom was destroyed in the Levianta Catastrophe, Irina was caught in the blast. She survived despite severe burns, internal bleeding, and losing all her limbs. As she lay dying, the severely burnt Seth Twiright approached her with a red stuffed cat under his arm. He brought her to his underground laboratory, Lunaca Labora, where her consciousness was transferred into the stuffed red cat. There, she learned that Seth's specialty was variable shape memory substances and forbidden transference techniques. Seth soon left, commanding her to continue the experiment. In EC 014, Irina witnessed seven lights fall in the southern night sky, learning they were the vessels of sin Seth had been experimenting to create. Over time, Irina developed a purpose: swearing vengeance against the apparently revived Elluka, whom she perceived as the cause of her homeland's destruction, her brother's fate, her own condition, and the loss of children conceived in her womb. She set a new goal to acquire the vessels of sin to turn people into artificial HERs, possessing magically potent bodies to compensate for her feline body's limitations. The Venomania Event Acquiring the Vessel of Lust Referring to herself as "I.R.", Irina traveled in search of the vessels of sin, creating a vast information network with subordinates within various governments and earning support from a group within Levin's Behemo sect. Throughout her journey, she occasionally visited the Tree of Held in his forest and discovered Elluka had become a vessel for the twin gods Levia-Behemo, planning to eventually steal them from her. Around EC 135, Irina located the sword holding the Demon of Lust in an Asmodean village and destroyed the town. There, she discovered Haru Netsuma possessed strong magical power and possessed the girl's body as her new medium. While attempting to kill Haru's sister Hakua, Haru's consciousness relapsed and compelled her not to. After collecting the vessel of sin, I.R. realized she could use the Demon of Lust's contractor to spawn more natural-born HERs into the world. In December EC 135, she chose Duke Ilotte Venomania to be the demon's contractor due to his influence. Arranging to meet him at his mansion, she arrived to find the entire household massacred, with the murderer preparing to commit suicide. Speaking with him, I.R. learned the man had a facial deformity and had wanted to obtain love. She offered him the vessel of Lust and instructed him to make a contract by impaling himself on the sword. As the man heard the demon's voice, she explained this meant he had the right to contract with it. The man stabbed himself with the sword, christening himself "Sateriasis Venomania." I.R. introduced herself and agreed to let him keep the sword to gain more power. Partnership with Sateriasis Venomania After learning the man had been witnessed by someone else, I.R. taught him how to perform an amplification ritual to invoke the sword's memory manipulation power. Sateriasis hastily performed the ritual, wiping both his own and the witness's memories. I.R. used her connections to establish him as the new Duke of Asmodean while tasking her subordinate Tette Cetera with handling the incident's aftermath. In early January EC 136, she learned Venomania had invited Lukana Octo into his home. When Lukana rejected him and departed, I.R. approached him without her medium, urging him to stop her. She insisted he fly after Lukana, as she was incapable of magic in her cat form. She retrieved Haru's body and followed him to the forest, where he had seduced Lukana but was spotted by a terrified bystander. I.R. berated Sateriasis for being seen and watched as he failed to use his magic to seduce the girl. They returned to the mansion with Lukana, where I.R. explained the specifics of his contract. Over several days, she used her information network to locate the witness, Mikulia Greeonio from Abito village. In February EC 136, they agreed to pursue Mikulia together, with I.R. leaving Haru's body in Lukana's care. During the carriage ride to Abito, I.R. conversed with Venomania, assuring him he was the only one who could hear her speak and explaining her cat form was for convenience. They discussed Abito and Mikulia before arriving at the village. While Sateriasis met with the village chief, I.R. tailed Mikulia and watched her pray to the forest, realizing Mikulia belonged to the Held sect and suspecting Held was disrupting the duke's spell. I.R. was shocked when Mikulia spotted her. Mikulia revealed she could understand I.R.'s speech, and they bickered about I.R. being Venomania's "minion." Sateriasis arrived, and despite the Lust spell not working, Mikulia expressed natural infatuation for him. I.R. sent Sateriasis back to the mansion and inconspicuously led Mikulia there under cover of night, questioning her and learning Mikulia harbored the Demon of Sloth, Eve Moonlit, inside her—explaining her ability to understand the cat and resist brainwashing. Developments at the Venomania Mansion After delivering Mikulia to Venomania, I.R. regained control of Haru's body. That night, she oversaw Sateriasis and the harem women perform the amplification ritual again, stopping Mikulia as she continuously messed up the chant. Following the ritual, I.R. confirmed it had successfully erased memories of his contact with Mikulia and Lukana and warned Venomania not to be in the public eye too often. I.R. decided to capture Eve in a proper vessel, theorizing demons and human souls could dwell in objects other than their own with sufficient magic. She prepared to make a magic doll in Eve's image to goad the Demon of Sloth into it, gathering supplies and creating a mold around March EC 136. While preparing materials, Venomania visited to introduce his new wife Lolan Eve, the dancer of Lisa-A. After bickering, I.R. kicked him out and finished the doll mold, musing about Mikulia's ignorance of the demon inside her and considering Lukana's potential as a new medium. After Mirigan Adi became Venomania's fourth wife, I.R. spotted Marquis Claster Glassred and others at the mansion entrance. Without her medium, she alerted Sateriasis to his visitors. Three days later, she took her doll mold to the Gine Workshop and used the kiln to craft the puppet. That night, returning to the Venomania Mansion, she passed the Glassred manor and saw Sateriasis had used the Demon of Lust's power to forcibly steal Gumina and kill everyone else inside. After returning to the mansion, I.R. prepared the ritual for Sateriasis to wipe the memories of Gumina and her bodyguard Carol Shields. Sometime after, she heard Tette Cetera's report that Queen Yufina Marlon likely possessed the Golden Key and would visit Asmodean. Returning to the mansion, she found Venomania had added Hakua Netsuma to his harem. Hakua hysterically embraced "Haru," and I.R. insisted Sateriasis get rid of her. When asked why, I.R. had Hakua entrusted to Lukana and privately explained Haru and Hakua's relation. While explaining she attacked their village to acquire a vessel, she recalled the Golden Key and urged Venomania to seduce Yufina, tempting him with obtaining all seven vessels. Faced with his lack of ambition, she pointed out he would eventually be caught without more vessels, and he reluctantly agreed. Journey to Mystica In early April EC 136, I.R. received a lead from Tette that a vessel of sin—a spoon—was in her father's tomb in the Misty Mountains. Learning she needed Sateriasis' power to unlock the tomb, she recruited him for the trip. Charging Mikulia with watching Haru, the sorceress hid in Sateriasis' coat and traveled to Mystica. After Sateriasis found a guide, Lilien Turner, I.R. climbed on his shoulder as they journeyed through ruins to the altar. They entered the tomb and discovered a stone coffin filled with treasure. As Venomania retrieved the spoon, I.R. recognized it as one of her father's magical tools, not a vessel of sin, and replaced it. She angrily cursed Tette for the false lead. Venomania planned to stay with Marquis Ferdinand while in Mystica, despite Ferdinand investigating disappearances. Arriving at the mansion, I.R. attached herself to Ferdinand's wife. While Sateriasis was out, she discovered the marquis' secret collection of Princess Maylis' possessions and showed them to Venomania that night. Exploring the mansion, I.R. discovered Venomania had murdered the marquis and the entire household. Several days later, she detached from her medium and saw a visitor discover the bodies. Brushing it off as the Duke's fight, she continued until sensing his demon transformation. She found Venomania in the halls, confirmed their battle was finished, and left the mansion on his shoulder. Discussing the battle's result, she found them a carriage and reminded Venomania to "reward" Tette for the false information. After returning to the mansion, I.R. discovered Mikulia playing with Haru's body as if it were a doll. She took the opportunity to gift Mikulia the "Clockworker's Doll" to play with until ready to move Eve into it. The End of Venomania As time passed, I.R.'s information network stagnated from Tette Cetera being added to the harem and other subordinates losing nerve after Yufina's disappearance. When Lolan Eve's dead body was discovered by Lukana, I.R. took the corpse outside. She had Annlee Sweets examine all harem women, learning Maylis, Mikulia, and Lukana were pregnant with Venomania's offspring. She also learned Lukana had prophetic dream ability and decided to make her a new host. After Venomania informed I.R. of Elluka Clockworker's visit, I.R. clarified he might brainwash her with the lust spell. Nevertheless, I.R. decided the duke would soon face ruin and planned to escape with the vessels. Taking Lukana as her medium, she broke into his storage and took the Clockworker's Doll and vessel of Lust before being interrupted by Venomania. Explaining her intentions and seeing he held no ill will, I.R. prepared to leave before he clarified he would not let her take Lukana. Threatened with confrontation, she reluctantly conceded. With parting words, she departed with Haru, the Clockworker's Doll, and the Venom Sword. After the Duke's death, I.R. returned to the ruins of the Levia-Behemo Temple and mused over her successes. Feeling the sword's purple aura, she named it the "Venom Sword" in remembrance of Duke Venomania. She continued pursuing Lukana as a new medium but was thwarted when Elluka swapped bodies with the tailor. Search for the Glass Vessel Becoming AB-CIR Around the turn of the second century EC, while searching for vessels, I.R. learned of Gula village, practically wiped out by disease after villagers ate a baemu pig containing a red wine glass. Discovering the sole survivor satiated his appetite for ten years, she determined it was the Demon of Gluttony's magic. With Haru's resurging consciousness becoming problematic and her "I.R." identity increasingly infamous, Irina staged a public battle between her and subordinate Aybee Cee, burning his arm, possessing him, and killing Haru. Using his body, she took the name "AB-CIR," pretending to be a benevolent mage who defeated I.R. She met a thief and became acquainted with his Association organization. Unable to use magic with a male body, she searched for a new one. AB-CIR could control Aybee's son, Ron Grapple, using Aybee's magic abilities as a Gluttony inheritor. She influenced Ron, a Conchita Family servant, to accept the baemu with the Gluttony vessel as a gift for Banica Conchita's birth celebration in November EC 296, presumably to curse the household with Gula disease. Soon after, AB-CIR passed through Gasto and agreed to help the Conchita family after being approached by their doctor. She explained to Duke Muzuri Conchita that the wine glass caused the disease. Taking the glass, she suggested they might survive if they satiated their appetite for ten years like the Gula survivor. Amused, AB-CIR departed with the wine glass. Evil Food Eater Conchita In EC 306, AB-CIR influenced Ron to hire twin servants Arte and Pollo to the Conchita Mansion, presumably to orchestrate Banica's possession by the Demon of Gluttony. She met the old thief's pupil Platonic, the newest incarnation of Eve Moonlit in the Clockworker's Doll. Detecting her innate magic, she initially sought her as a replacement body before finding she had no magical talent, instead having her perform jobs. AB-CIR was employed by Lord Somi Hedgehog of Castle Hedgehog in Lioness while looking for the Marlon Spoon. Fascinated by his sadism, she studied his torture methods, with rumors she made him torture and kill political prisoners. During her service, AB-CIR was briefly captured by Marlon, and the wine glass was taken from her. With the glass at the Conchita mansion and Banica contracting its demon in EC 324, AB-CIR hired burglars to steal it, each going missing. She hired Platonic to steal the glass for a considerable sum. Platonic reported her failure in the castle's dungeon, explaining undead soldiers and malicious twins protected the estate. They were overheard by captured Prince Carlos Marlon, and AB-CIR arranged for him to infiltrate the mansion in exchange for freedom. Having killed famed cook Josef Crim, AB-CIR used the Venom Sword to change Carlos' appearance to impersonate Josef and be hired as Banica's cook, telling him the change wasn't permanent. "Josef" successfully infiltrated, though AB-CIR later lost contact. Meanwhile, she sent Platonic to steal the Twin Blades of Levianta from Levin Church in Lucifenia, but Platonic was captured by Elluka, who allegedly had the blades. Seeking to reclaim Platonic, AB-CIR traveled to Elphegort and visited Held. Greeting him and catching him up on her identity, she vandalized the tree's bark with her cat claws, demanding Elluka's whereabouts. Held refused, and they talked as AB-CIR scratched his face. She questioned why Held hadn't told Elluka of her existence, receiving no clear answer. After several minutes of "torture," she gave up. In August EC 325, Platonic escaped Elluka with the wine glass, presumably passing back to AB-CIR. AB-CIR later lost possession of the Venom Sword and Glass. Daughter of Fog Abyss I.R. By the mid-fifth century EC, Irina took an old woman as her medium and adopted the name Abyss I.R. In EC 468, she slaughtered a girl's entire family and took the child as her own. As the child possessed Malice, Abyss I.R. raised her as a prototype assassin under the prefix "N," assigning multiple jobs. After assigning her to kill Beelzenian fugitive Leonhart Avadonia, Abyss lost contact. Abyss I.R. tracked the lost Venom Sword to orphaned Zenon Octo in Elphegort, a Venomania descendant. In EC 473, she met him, used fire magic to steal the sword, and left him unconscious. She planned to test the sword's potency using Zenon, now a soldier for the Asmodean Emperor named "Gast Venom." In EC 477, she arranged for Head of Intelligence Phutapie to research his past and took a witness from Gast's hometown; they met with Gast's superior, General Shalgham. Sharing Phutapie's findings, Abyss I.R. had the witness confirm the information and that Shalgham's foster daughter Yvette resembled Gast's dead sister Sarah. With Shalgham, she planned for Gast to be influenced by Yvette disguised as Sarah and the Venom Sword into rebelling, with Shalgham seeking reason to have Gast executed. At the Misty Mountains, Gast was influenced to kill the general, and Abyss determined the vessel was potent. The night before Gast's planned death, Abyss witnessed Yvette rebel and kill Shalgham with the Golden Key before escaping. She greeted Gast, taunted him, attacked with fire magic, and took the Venom Sword from his unconscious body. Dark Conspiracy Partnership with Prim Marlon In the early EC 480s, traversing Marlon's Blood Pool region, Abyss I.R. contacted Queen Prim Marlon and learned she was a fellow HER, forming a partnership. Knowing King Arth's children would be next in Hänsel and Gretel's reincarnation cycle and Prim's history with Arth, she offered Prim the Venom Sword to seduce Arth and prove herself a real mage. Months later in EC 482, after Prim returned pregnant from Lucifenia, Abyss I.R. offered to be her partner on conditions: Prim help collect other vessels and give her a child for magical experimentation. Prim gave Abyss I.R. her child by Arth after birth, risking scandal from the girl's blonde hair. Abyss named the child "Ney." Over years, Abyss I.R. served as Prim's court mage, finishing Prim's magical training begun with Elluka and letting her use acquired vessels. She experimented on Ney for research, training her as a spy and assassin, reinforcing loyalty to Prim, and casting a spell to mask Prim's aging. She developed the Special Maneuvers Task Force, training women as elite spies and agents. In EC 487, Abyss approached Leonhart Avadonia's temporary home with task force spies; hoping to obtain Zita C. Beelzenia, they were quickly defeated. With Duke Sfarz, Prim and Abyss collected the Marlon Spoon and Glass of Conchita. Once they acquired the vessel of Pride, Abyss separated the mirror into four smaller hand mirrors. Twiright Prank Around EC 489, Abyss set up shop in a Lucifenian market, selling toys in glass bottles. She encountered Arth and his son Prince Alexiel, who purchased a toy. The following year, Prim asked Abyss to assassinate Arth and his children Alexiel and Riliane. Given free range, she used the Glass of Conchita to cause a Gula epidemic in Beelzenia, goading Arth into invading the weakened state, where he was seemingly infected and killed by plague. Believing their plan was to have Alexiel possessed by the Demon of Pride and elevate both his and Prim's designs, Presi agreed. Abyss showed him the hand mirror, brushing off his skepticism. Learning Elluka was at the palace, with Presi's suggestion, she planned to have Riliane and Alexiel possessed at the nearby beach where they played. Placing the mirror in a black box buried in the sand, she hid in the Lost Woods and watched them play. Once they found the mirror, she summoned the Demon of Gluttony, and it possessed Riliane. Days later, Abyss met Presi after he attempted to make Riliane Arth's heir, weathering his blame and brushing off his suspicion Riliane wasn't possessed by a Demon of "Pride." Noting it wouldn't be easy to keep her possession secret, Abyss warned Presi about Elluka and the Three Heroes before disappearing. Abyss later met Ney on a Lucifenian outskirts hill, hearing her report that after Presi became possessed, Mariam Phutapie helped Elluka defeat him; Elluka exorcised the demon from Riliane, though pointless without the other mirrors. She decided to use the same method on Arth to kill Queen Anne and break up the Three Heroes. She instructed Ney to remember everything taught while waiting in the palace and replant the demon on Riliane. Soon after, she revived the demon in the Glass and conjured another Gula strain to infect Anne. During this time, Irina learned Elluka had been unaware of Prim's HER nature and unable to cure her, growing suspicious of her apparent sister-in-law. Unraveling Conspiracy In EC 494, after Duke Sfarz was killed by his daughter Mikina via the Marlon Spoon, Prim forced Mikina to replace her father and follow Abyss I.R.'s instructions. After Anne's death in January EC 499, Abyss agreed to Prim's ambition to overthrow Lucifenia and install her son King Kyle as a great ruler. With Ney successfully transplanting the Demon of Pride to Riliane, Abyss maintained contact with Mikina through a Very Amazing Green Onion and gave her the Venom Sword, instructing her to give it to her husband Keel, leading Kyle's possession. Once Kyle's sweetheart Michaela was discovered as Elluka's apprentice, Abyss had Ney learn her location from Mikina and ensure she was killed during the Green Hunting. With the Lucifenian Revolution's success, all Three Heroes except Elluka were killed, and Marlon occupied Lucifenia; Abyss omitted to Prim that Riliane fled to a monastery as "Rin." Abyss extracted the Demon of Lust from Kyle, only for Queen to have him possessed by the Demon of Pride. In EC 502, Abyss discovered Elluka and apprentice Gumillia infiltrating Marlon castle; ambushing them, she captured Elluka's body while Gumillia escaped. When Kyle asked to use the Special Maneuvers Task Force for his Witch Hunt later that year, Abyss selected Ney to spearhead it. In EC 505, Abyss had Mikina visit the monastery to spy on Rin, considering the child as her next body due to demonic possession. Abyss gave Ney the Glass of Conchita for Kyle's planned Beelzenia invasion. Over a month later, when Kyle was freed of possession and Gumillia and the blue-haired king headed for Marlon, Prim fled to Castle Hedgehog and tasked Abyss with halting Kyle's advance. Using Lukana's body as her medium, "Abyss I.R." was declared dead while continuing service to Prim. She contracted Captain Yarera and Zusco of the Yarera pirates to abduct Kyle for reward. When the attack failed, Abyss traveled to Bariti and learned Kyle's friends were at the Freezis Mansion in Marlon. Arriving, she impersonated Elluka to the Freezis Family before encountering Gumillia. Going to Column Forest with Gumillia to speak privately, she dropped the charade and attacked. As Yukina and Germaine Avadonia intervened, Abyss battled all three and attempted to steal Gumillia's body; Elluka's spirit wrestled control, leaving Abyss without a medium. Cut Losses In her cat body, Irina headed after Elluka, Gumillia, Germaine, and Yukina when found and taken in by Mikina. She wandered the mansion with Mikina following. Shortly after Kyle, Keel, Yukina, Elluka, and Gumillia left for Lioness days later, Abyss took Mikina as her medium. Donning the Almoga Mobarez mask from Keel's storehouse, she pursued the group and, following Prim's death and Ney's capture, invaded Lioness Castle using the Marlon Spoon. Approaching the room where Ney and vessels were kept, she knocked out everyone inside, murdered Ney, took the vessels, and fled. Over a week and a half later, Abyss met Clarith in the Lucifenian monastery as Mikina. Four days later, she set out to the coastline near the monastery, hiding her cat body in a beachside shed. Walking the beach that night, Germaine confronted her after being sent by Elluka and Gumillia. Bantering, Abyss noticed Yukina watching and briefly pretended to be a frightened Mikina. Germaine explained Abyss I.R.'s possession nature to Yukina, who located the cat body using an inscription mark in her sword. As Germaine reached the shed, Abyss fled in her cat body to Mikina's shoulder. She threatened Yukina and Germaine with the Marlon Spoon, noting Germaine's quick recovery from injuries. Surmising Germaine was a Banica Conchita descendant, she resolved to take her body. Confronted again by Yukina, Abyss began telling her about Mikina's involvement; as Mikina's consciousness resurged and begged her to stop, Abyss regained control and forced her host to tell the truth. She blasted Germaine across the beach when she tried to intervene. After Mikina finished, Abyss regained control and invoked the Marlon Spoon's power, enveloping Yukina with flames; she was attacked from behind by Rin, interrupting the spell. Struggling with the nun, she furiously tried to attack again, but the attack was cancelled; realizing the Demon of Gluttony (which absorbed Ney) was interfering, Abyss ditched her medium when Germaine attacked, barely scratching her. She sprinted away, but Germaine skewered her with a thrown rapier. Collapsing in the sand, she played dead, allowing the group to think she was defeated. Later, she patched up her feline body and escaped. The Intervening Centuries Collaboration with Mikhail Asayev In EC 508, Abyss traveled to Holy Levianta and collaborated with Mikhail Asayev, who possessed the Twin Blades of Levianta. She had Mikhail possessed by the Demon of Envy, influencing Neo Apocalypse's creation and subsequent terrorism. Recruiting Yuzette Ora During her schemes, Santa and Shadow met Yuzette Ora, convinced she would be useful. After proving their power as mages, Julia convinced Yuzette to run away from home and join. Testing Yuzette for magic ability, Julia explained her ambitions and magic history. Finding Yuzette had no magical abilities, Julia expelled her. Sometime later, she discovered a boy named Lemy at a Rolled orphanage and adopted him, improving her public image. In EC 606, she took her son to a circus and was shocked to see singer Rin Chan had Riliane's appearance. Realizing Mayrana's obsessive imitation, Julia ordered Fourth Shadow to reside in Calgaround, Merrigod Plateau, Elphegort; there Shadow became elected mayor, making it a second base to direct members. Duel of Merrigod Plateau Confrontation with Elluka In April EC 610, Julia learned Lemy assassinated Seventh Magician but the brothel owner, claiming to be Third Sleep Princess, wished to meet. Meeting the woman, Elluka Clockworker, Julia listened to her story that "Margarita" allegedly gained control of Elluka's body and was impressed by her apparent ability to hypnotize Gumillia. Three months later, Julia met with Second Dealer Bruno, who gave Lemy an assassination job to kill Freezis Foundation Vice President Nob Nicole. Next morning, Julia breakfasted with Lemy and learned from him Seventh Magician was a traitor planning to flee. She sent Gatt with Lemy to apprehend her, but they were too late to prevent her escape. Later, Julia ordered Gatt to assassinate Kaidor in custody; his death was reported September 19. Despite his death, Julia faced intense suspicion and announced her resignation. Over the next three months, Lemy killed Julia's political opponents. Final Duel During winter EC 610, Julia learned Lemy was shot by Gumillia and held a funeral, burying him while he regenerated. Learning Magician was Elluka, she sent her a letter challenging her to Merrigod Plateau. She left the Glass of Conchita at Lemy's grave and spare clothes anticipating his recovery. At Merrigod, Irina waited with all available vessels, including the Clockworker's Doll. When Elluka and Gumillia arrived, she dueled them. Lemy arrived, and Julia explained to shocked Elluka how contractors couldn't be killed by ordinary means, mocking her for not knowing earlier and surviving other contractors on luck. She continued the duel with Lemy. After several hours of stalemate, Julia watched Gumillia shoot Lemy with Grim the End transformed into a bullet, killing him; horrified, she stopped and cried over his body before being defeated. To spare her human body, Irina released control over Germaine and, in cat form, prepared to erase "Elluka's" false memories using the black box Seth prepared. She self-destructed, bringing herself and everyone surrounding her into Levia's inner psychological world. With Eve Moonlit's spirit, Irina waited at a representation of the Levia-Behemo Temple for Levia, Behemo, and Gumillia. The Court After revealing her identity and explaining the world's mechanics, Irina unveiled Eve as the "Master of the Court" and transformed the dimension into the Court. She declared her intention to destroy everything and conclude her duel. However, Banica Conchita arrived with Worldeater, interrupting. Following Gallerian's death in the Leviantan Civil War, the Doll was transferred to Evil's Theater by Ma, where she was reinvigorated by Gear's sacrifice. As "Master of the Court," she sentenced intruders to death, hoping to achieve utopia and reunite with Gallerian. The Doll later became pregnant, gave birth to twins Adam and Eve, and was killed in the world's destruction in EC 999. World's End After the world's end, Irina regained all memories; meeting with Gallerian, Michelle, and Gammon Octo, they collaborated to save the world by invoking the Court ending, planning to have Adam and Eve enact a Re_birthday. Despite this, Irina at birth was unaware of her true nature and originally acted normally, even feeling guilt for her actions, though she scorned this later. She retained capacity for friendships and motherly love, harboring a deep desire for family and children, but denied these feelings and only ruminated on them late in life. She believed Venomania should treat his harem respectfully as a woman, yet paradoxically helped him brainwash more women. After experiences as Master of the Court, she gave up destroying the gods by world's end and planned to revive the world. As a schemer, Irina was calm, collected, and ambitious. She typically didn't become too involved in conflicts after sowing seeds, preferring to orchestrate events through large organizations. Like Seth, she had an interest in science, conducting research to understand magic, demons, and vessels. As a cat, Irina could steal and control someone else's body as an extension of herself while maintaining complete control of her cat body.
