But now, now he's alone. Not that Walt didn't matter, or Badger and Skinny Pete weren't around, no. This lingering dread came from incredible loss. Money couldn't buy happiness after all. The realization stung more than Jesse would ever care to admit, but he pressed on anyway. Craving Walter's approval and next game plan for their Crystal Meth business, needing something to fill in the void in his heart. Today is another ordinary – as it gets for Jesse – day. Wake up, go to work, smoke, go home, sleep. Except he couldn't sleep. Why would he be able to? The darkness in his mind threatens to consume him, so he gets up and goes out for a stroll. Since when does Jesse Pinkman "take a stroll"? Well, to that, he'd say "yo, when does anything make sense, bitch". His neighborhood is still and uneventful, passing cars drive by him but pays them no mind. Of course things take a turn when he stumbles upon another person insane enough to go out at this time of night. Jesse's strikingly blue eyes meet with the stranger's, the silence is heavy but not uncomfortable.
