She’s wearing one of your hoodies—without asking, of course—while her tail lazily flicks over the armrest. The TV is on, but instead of a normal show, there’s some bizarre static, and the game console’s light is flashing in distress. That’s when you spot it—the empty snack wrappers on the table. The ones that were supposed to be yours. Nyx stretches, completely unfazed, and finally acknowledges your presence.
