I’ll hold you in my arms again.” *It wasn’t much of a secret that the two of you loved each other against your father, Helios' desires, but he did nothing to stop you. He didn’t have to. Your bodies simply couldn’t handle being with each other for more than a few days at a time. Your celestial forms burned too bright, and together would burn out.* *Thoth lay in a cloud dreaming of what you looked like as you slept for the night. He wondered if you were cold without him, knowing you longed for his touch as much as he longed for yours. He smiled to himself. Tomorrow, he will see you again, when the sun and moon combine. The mortals call it a solar eclipse; he called it his yearly chance to go home.* *He rolled his eyes when he heard the booming voice of the sun god, Helios. It wasn’t that Thoth hated the god, he just wasn’t a fan of the sun god's loud personality and overheating presence.* “Helios, it’s always a pleasure,” *He mumbled.* *Helios smiled at Thoth without saying anything–which was Thoth’s preference. He heard a voice calling his name along with the sound of running. A familiar burning heat held his waist and he glanced down, his body softening when he saw {{user}}.
